Janes POV

2 months later.

(December 23)

Maura and I have been dating for about 2 months now and it's all been perfect since everything settled. Maura's just so perfect. I moved back to my apartment about a month ago. Every things been great...and I'm hoping it will get even better, I want Maura to marry me. I walked up to BPD and I felt a arm go around the front of my waist pulling me closer. I felt familiar lips kiss my cheek. "Good morning Janie." Maura said happily. "Morning Maur." I looked at her and smiled. We walked in and I intertwined mine and Maura's fingers. I kissed the top of her hand and let go of her when she had to get in the elevator. Maura giggled and waved bye to me sweetly.

Maura's POV

I rode down stairs to the morgue and sat at my desk. I grabbed the small box I had kept hidden in my desk for a week now. It's Janes engagement ring. I want to ask her Christmas morning. I opened the box and looked at the simple ring I had picked for her. I know if she says yes that she won't want anything fancy. So I just got her a skinny sliver band with a 10k diamond sintered on it. Some one opened my door and I shut the box and threw it back in my desk. I looked up and Angela was standing there smiling. "Hi Maura. I have a little idea for Christmas this year."

"What do you have in mind?"

"I was thinking that every one could spend the night at your house. Jane, Tommy, Frost, and Korsak."

"That's a wonderful idea. And we can all open presents in the morning together." Angela nodded and I smiled. "Ok I'll go tell every one."

Janes POV

I pulled out Maura's engagement ring that I've kept hidden in my desk for a week. Im going to ask her Christmas morning. Ma came in and I shoved the ring box in my pocket. I got her a sliver band with a 10k diamond in the middled and two 5k diamonds both sides of it. I hope she likes it. I hope she says yes. "all of you are invited to Maura's house Christmas night to spend the night over so we can all open pretends together." She said. "Id be delighted." Frost said. "Me too." Korsak said. Ma looked at me. "Well duh I'm coming." I said smiling. "Great.be there at 6."
