Janes POV
4 and a half months later
"Jane...please let me come to work!" Maura whined. "No Maur, you are 8 months pregnant."
"Jane...."
"Sorry Maur."
"Please stay here." Maura grabbed my hand. "Maur I have to work. And you and Calliope need to rest."
"Calliope likes to be in my office."
"Maura. You are staying here." Maura stuck her bottom lip out and pouted at me. I leaned down and kissed her bottom lip. Maura kissed back. I pulled away and smiled at her. "Baby you need to stay here."
"Kiss me like that one more time and you've got your self a deal." I cupped her face and kissed her again. We kissed for a few seconds and I pulled away. "Bye baby. I love you." I walked out the door.
Maura's POV
I sat there watching tv for hours. Ugh I can't believe she's making me stay here! Then I felt a pain in my stomach. "Ahh." I groaned clinching the blanket in my hands. Then it came again, but it was worse and my water broke. I let out a scream. The door flew open. "Maura! are you ok!?"
"I'm in labor." I whimpered. Angela started to get things ready and I got up and went to my room. I changed clothes and grabbed the bag and my phone. I called Jane. "Jane baby...I'm in labor...see you there."
Hours later.
"Here you go Mrs Isles, this is your baby girl." The nurse handed me my baby girl and Jane was grinning uncontrollably. "Hi there Calliope Rosalyn Rizzoli-Isles." I said stroking her small cheek. Jane kissed my head and nuzzled her nose into my hair. "She's beautiful Jane." I said smiling up at my wife. "Just like her mommy." Jane whispered putting her hand on the back of Callie's head. The tanned, Spanish-American baby opened her eyes for the first time revealing the dark chocolate eyes. "Look at her eyes." I cooed. "They are beautiful."
