Part 10

Maura's POV

Jane and I walked out of the restaurant. "I had fun tonight Jane."

"We could keep the fun going and go on walk."

"Sure." Jane and I started to walk down the street. We walked two blocks and I felt a drop of rain fall on my head. "Jane it's about to rain."

"We better get back to the car then." right when she said that is started poring. I laughed and Jane and I started running back down the street. Jane stopped and swung me around, pressing me against the side of the building. "I've always wanted to know what it was like kissing you in the rain." Jane said. I smiled and put my hands on both sides of her head. I pulled her down into a kiss. Kissing Jane was...like nothing I've ever felt before. She made me feel...so different than what the men I have dated made me feel. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer. Janes hands found my backside causing me to jump, but I just went back to kissing her. We pulled away and put our foreheads together. "I love you." I said. "I love you too Maura."

"I want to go back to your place."

"Maura!" Jane gasped. "Not like that. I just want to...be with you. I don't want to be alone tonight." Jane kissed me again. "Let's go." she said quietly. I smiled and we ran to car and drove to Janes. When we got to her place Jane pulled me in. I walked away from her unzipping my dress in the process. I turned around to the hallway and dropped my dress.

Janes POV

Maura drop her dress when she turned around and like her dress, my jaw hit the floor. I watched her walk to my room. "Jane..."

"H-huh yeah." I asked shaking my self from shock. "Just making sure."

"What for?"

"Just to see if you weren't drooling like a dog."

"Your very cocky aren't you doctor."

"Yes." She said slyly. I took off my dress and hung it over that back of my dinning table chair. I went to the basket of clean clothes that was on my counter. I grabbed a big t-shirt and slipped it on. Then I felt hands on my butt. "Maura!?"

"Hmm?"

"Your very silly." Maura giggled and ran her hands up my back then wrapped them around my neck. Maura kissed my back and I smiled. I turned around to her and she pressed up against me. I smiled and put my arms around her. "Your so gorgeous." I said smiling. Maura picked me up and sat me on the counter. She crawled up on the counter and hovered over me. I picked her up and sat her back down. She frowned. "I haven't had a kiss since the street."

"Well you don't have to act like I'm your prey or something."

"Maybe you are...i have been keeping an eye on you lately." I chuckled.

Maura smiled. "I'm just messing with you silly."

I smiled and walked her over to the couch. "You are a magnificent creature Mrs Isles."

I snapped awake from my dream. I was on Maura's couch and she was laid across my lap. I can't tell if that was a dream or a nightmare taunting me.
