"All right next up is... this!" Midnight said waving her whip
"A calvary battle?" The crowd murmured
"So its basically the same as the playground game except you can use your quirks. There can be 2 to 4 people in each group. Each person has a point value depending on where they ended up in the obstacle course. The person in 42nd place gets 5 points and it goes up to first place that gets a million .Go find teams!"
You went over to Deku's team but he already had a team
"S-sorry y/n" he apologized as you ran off looking for Todoroki
"Todoroki!" You yelled "can I be on you team?"
"Sure. We needed another person anyway" he said
"So! How we doin' this" Kaminari asked
"I think we should go for those who are going for Deku's while they aren't paying attention then try for Deku's" you offered and everyone agreed
"Everyone got a team? A plan? Well if you dont to bad!"
We lifted Todoroki up as he fixed the headband
"Ready?! GO!"
Just as you predicted everyone went for Deku. You all went around grabbing them off of unsuspecting victims. You pressurized the air around a few making them come over to you before giving them up to Todoroki.
"15 minutes left!" Mic yelled
"We should go for Midoriya's now" Iida told us
Once we found Deku Todo made walls around us so no one could get in or out. Unfortunately they knew enough to stay out of Todorok's line of fire (or ice)
"I have a way that will ensure us victory but put me out of commission for the rest of the round"
"Do it" you said after a nod from Todoroki
"Recpio BURST!" He yelled propelling us forward. Todoroki reached out grabbing the headband and got it but this ment it was just the two of us. Iida over used his quirk and Kaminari was on the fence of turning into a complete idiot
"Mix them up" you said to him
While we weren't paying attention Deku ran over grabbing the top band. They were cheering until Deku saw it was only 70 points.
"Great idea y/n" Kaminari said
They tried again almost reaching it when Todoroki used his left side. You didn't know if anyone else noticed except you, Deku and obviously Todoroki.
'Boom'
Bakugou broke through the ice lunging for the million band and Deku tried to as Todoroki stared at his hand. Right before they got it the timer went off and Bakugou fell on his face. You breadth out a sigh of relief
"In first place team Todoroki second place is Team Bakugou third is team Shinsou and in forth... team Midoriya!"
You all walked up to the stage and alot of people dropped out
"Okay next up is... This!"
'1 on 1 battle"
"You'll all have a bit of a break untill the next round" Midnight announced
Todoroki's pov:
"You're in my way" I growled at the familiar person
He just smirked
"I saw you with that girl earlier" he said and my heart dropped "she has a strong quirk..."
"That has nothing to do with y/n" I growled angrily
"You should stop acting that. Except your quirk" his eyes glared down at me
"No" I said walking passed him "No..."
