Last time:
As she started a person came out of the forest followed by a lizard.
"Get out of here" Mandalay yelled
"Where's Kota?"
Midoriya's eyes lit up "I know where he is!" He yelled "Y/n tell Mandalay I'm going to find Kota"
"Deku wait" Y/n yelled over the noise of the fight "let me come with you"
He nodded
"Mandalay! We're going to get Kota!" Y/n yelled to her then ran off after Midoriya.
We continue:
Y/n's pov:
You followed as Deku ran ahead of you and up part of the hill that lay next to the camp. You had a bad feeling about going up but kept it to yourself.
It was nothing, you assured yourself, just the fact there are villains here and nerves. Almost nothing to worry about.
God were you wrong.
A villain had found Kota already. He dropped his mask and Kota looked like he had been slapped even though the villain hadn't done anything yet.
That wasn't going to last long though. The villain looked like he was going to hit him and you weren't sure he'd be okay after that.
"Kota!" Deku yelled attracting both Kota and the villain's attention.
You grabbed Kota pulling him back towards you as Deku advanced on the villain.
"Y/n get Kota to safety" Deku instructed.
You nodded and started pulling Kota but he turned to you with his eyes full of fear.
"Wait. We can't just leave him" his voice was shaking almost as much as he was "please help him."
"Fine" you agreed "but find somewhere safe to hide"
Even though it was just minutes into the fight Deku already wasn't looking good. He was bloody and bruised. The villain went to hit him again but this time you pushed him out of the way. He hit you instead sending you into the rocks of the mountain.
"Y/n!" He yelled running over to you. You lifted your throbbing head.
"I'm okay" you said.
"You shouldn't have done that"
"Your quirks more suitable for him anyway"
The villain cracked his knuckles and grinned down at us.
"You were both on the list of people we could kill but before I do that... Do either of you know where the kid named Bakugou is?"
