*Chapter 5*

Y/n pov:

You slowly opened your eyes to be met with a white room. You could hear a faint beep if a machine you were connected to. Your arm was in a cast and your leg was too. Your head had a bloody bandage around it. A nurse walked in.

"Oh good, your awake," she said with a smile.

"H-how long was I out for?"

"Only about a day. You healed quick, although Recovery Girl helped and your still not fully recovered..." the nurse said trailing off and biting her lip, "hold on a minute hon I should go tell the doctor you're awake."

When they got back you asked a question that was on your mind.

"Umm. Excuse me but is-is my dad ok?" They shared a nervous glance.

"Your dad... well he's not exactly ok but he'll live," they said. Those weren't the most reassuring words but at least you knew he would be ok eventually.

"You should be able to go home today and if you feel well enough you can go to school. We're going to have Recovery Girl come in later so just rest until then.."

You nodded closing your eyes letting the darkness take over again

Todoroki's pov:

I couldn't sleep that night y/n kept coming through my thoughts. It was my fault, I could have done something to help her but I couldn't move when I had to. What if I lost the one person who I could talk to. The person who's company I enjoyed. Every time I tried going to sleep y/n's smile would turn into a tangle of blood and limbs that seemed to haunt my dreams. I wish the day before I could have protected her more. That's it! From now on I'll work even harder. For y/n...

No one's pov:

Most of class 1-A was already there including the boy with two toned hair who kept looking at the door wondering if you were coming. If you were okay.

"I wonder who'll be teaching us while Aizawa-Sensei is out", just then the door opened revealing the 1-A homeroom teacher. His face and arms were both bandaged but he was upright.

"Sir! Glad to see your ok!" Iida called out.

"You call that ok?" Then the door opened again now to show a h/c girl. Todoroki perked up a bit to see that she was mostly okay.

"Sorry I'm late," she said walking in. Her arm was in a sling but didn't have a cast, her leg seemed healed except for the light limp she had. There was still a bandage on her head but it seemed to have stopped bleeding. When she saw Aizawa she stopped.

"What are you doing here?" Aizawa asked her

"Have you seen yourself lately?" Y/n questioned, "you shouldn't be here either! I look much better then you. I mean how can you even see me at all!"

Aizawa just tsked and turned to the board and y/n sat down next to Todoroki who whispered a quiet hello. "Now your fight isn't over yet..."

"Don't tell me... more villains!"

"The UA sports festival is coming up."

"But sir is it safe after what happened with the attack?"

"We'll have extra security. The UA sports festival is the most watched competition in the world it used to be the Olympics besides we have to show that the attack didn't shake us. Dismissed."

When class ended Todoroki turned on her.

"Are you alright?"

"Ya, I'm fine buuut I have to get you Recovery Girl's fast I want to make it in time for lunch," y/n said giggling.

'The sports festival. We only have 3 chances to do this... all the pros will be watching I have to win this' she thought walking to the office.
