The One~(Todoroki x reader)✔️

*Chapter 26*

Last time:

Soon enough you ran into Uraraka and Tsuyu

"What are you guys doing?" She asked

"We're getting Bakugou back to camp" Deku explained

"Umm... Don't you need Bakugou then?"

She was right. Both Bakugou and Tokoyami were gone.

Y/n's pov:

You looked around.

They must be close... They must be... There!

"Look!" You yelled pointing at a villain up in the tree branches.

"He's underestimating us" Todoroki growled.  Sending a wave of ice at him that must have taken a lot of his energy because his entire right side was instantly covered in ice.

He was flaunting around two turquoise pearls as though this was a game to him. Just a game of cat and mouse. And you were losing. He gave you a minute to clearly see him before heading back to wherever he came from.

"Tsuyu, Uraraka can you get us up there?" You asked. You couldn't rely on Deku to help he was to badly hurt yet he still insisted on coming.

They sent you, Todoroki and the others right at the villain. You were clinging to Todoroki for dear life but you felt this was a bad time to mention your fear of heights.

You all went crashing down after the villain.

"You're late" one said ignoring your presence like the group would be easily gotten rid of. You weren't a problem in their eyes.

The one who said it had black hair and purple scars. As everyone found someone to fight he looked at you with  amusement. The gaze of his light turquoise eyes was chilling but it reminded you of someone else's.

You broke the staring contest you seemed to be having with him.

The others seemed preoccupied with there fights leaving you with the man with the black hair.

You reached him and he smirked at you.

You could only do one thing but it mention you might get hurt but you need him to use his quirk. You ran at him attempting to touch him to stop his quirk.

He sent blue flames at you before you could though. You split the flame down the middle so most of it missed you but some of it burned one of your arms and your shirt was on fire. You patted it out. There was to much adrenaline running through you to feel the pain.

You sent the flame back around and he looked shocked but in the time it took for his quirk to clear you lost sight of him.

"Damnit!" You swore looking around for him.

"Mister" you heard his voice say and saw  Magic Guy pinned down "get out of the way"

"Roger..." He moaned shrinking into a ball

Fire Guy sent a large blast of fire at the group that had previously been holding Magic Guy.

You could hear Deku scream but you couldn't do anything the flame had to go straight or you would hit someone else

"Bakugou" Fire Guy demanded and Magic Guy ruffled through his pockets.

"Come everyone let's go! I have them" he turned to Magic Guy, Fire Guy and Knife Girl,  "I saw you put them in your pocket"

"Get them" Fire Guy growled but Magic Guy stopped him.

"No leave them"

You stopped running and as the others noticed you absence they stopped to. It didn't make sense why wouldn't they try to get them back instead of giving up? Unless...

Magic Guy simply laughed as you pieced it together and lifted his mask.

Todo and Deku both looked shocked.
"I would never show where I actually hide my treasures" he smiled coldly then a bean hit him out of no where and he spit out the two orbs. Todo and Mezo tried to grab the two.

Mezo got to his but Todoroki's was snatched as his fingers just started to reach it.

"That's sad..." Fire Guy said "...Shoto Todoroki.."

Todo went right passed the man.

"Let them out" he instructed

"My shows been ruined" Magic Man sniffed but snapped his fingers letting them both

Bakugou was in Fire Guy's hands and Tokoyami was next to us

"Kacchan!" Deku yelled

"Stay back... Deku..." Was Bakugou's last words before disappearing through the portal.

You were all shocked as they closed.

You failed.

You didn't save him.
