Y/n's POV:

The sun was setting and you were worried. A growing amount of unease was settling in your stomach.

You sat and watched as your father was bombarded with questions about Bakugou's disappearance.

Throughout the press conference you could tell your father's eyes kept moving over to you to check that you were still firmly planted in your seat. As if you were seconds from running off and saving him yourself. He wasn't wrong. You thought about sneaking off and trying to find Todo and the rest of those idiots before they killed themselves. Unfortunately, assuming you didn't die in the process, your father would strangle you when you got back but, of course that didn't matter since he wasn't even giving you time to leave. His gaze was always on you.

You shuffled uncomfortably in your seat until his eyes were off you.

He couldn't know, could he?

No. Not unless someone told him and as far as you knew no one from the class had told him.

When the conference took a break you pushed yourself up on to the stage and walked over to him holding your stomach.

"Dad" you whined lightly "can I go home now"

Giving you a weary look he opened his mouth to decline your request.

I feel sick

"Dad..." You said weakly, using all your strength not to throw-up there and then "please... I promise I won't let anyone kill me on the way home."

He waved you off after giving you one final look "Fine" he grumbled "you look terrible. Go take a nap or something at home"

Just like your dad. Sleep was always the answer.

You walked home with your ears straining for any sign of a fight; any portion of ice or blast of fire; any roar of Bakugou's explosions; any strong current of air that followed Deku's unstable quirk; but none of it came.

You opened the door and plopped yourself down on the couch, quickly turning the t.v.

Yes, if a bunch of underage heros in training were fighting a group of villains it would be on t.v., especially if heros were there to. Media were probably stalking this story like a predator stalks prey.

As you expected the news casters were positioned above the fight. Bakugou was a sitting duck in the middle of it all.

All Might had to restrain himself. You could see it. Each punch only seemed half as strong as it should be. Bakugou was in the way.

Then the footage cut. A freakin' commercial came on in the middle of everything.

You got up rubbing you temples, you were worrying to much they were probably fine. They weren't at the fight after all. Or maybe they were dead. There was always that option.

You got yourself a glass of water then returned to the living room.

The news came back on and you nearly spit out your drink. Bakugou, Deku, Kirishima and Iida were all flying through the air propelled by ice.

Your jaw dropped. You knew there was a high chance about Kirishima, Todo and Momo. You knew Deku would even go if he was able to, he didn't seemed to care if he lived or died as long as he kept someone safe, if he helped someone in some way. But Iida? You thought he had tried to talk them out of it. Why was he there.

But at least as Todoroki is alive. You thought, this means I can kill him myself.

All Might fought the villain All For One. It seemed slow and painful. At some point your father got home but you didn't notice until it was over.

All Might was reduced to a sickly form but still standing which was more than what could be said for All For One.

You both sat in shock of what you had just witnessed.

A few days later-

"Todoroki!" You yell making the half and half boy flinch.

"Y/n" Todoroki stuttered which caught you off guard. He went to save Bakugou from a group of villains but was scared of a small potato such as yourself. He must have hit his head to hard while he was out breaking the law.

You really weren't sure whether you wanted to kill him or congratulate him.

You walked up to him and hit him. It probably didn't even hurt him but it made you feel better. Only emotionally of course because his stomach was hard and it really hurt your hand.

"Your. An. Idiot." You said through gridded teeth.

"I think I deserve that" he said softly as he pulled you closer to him so that you couldn't hit him.

"You almost gave me a heart attack" you mumbled into his shoulder.

"I'm fine" he said back softly.

Your father called you all back together in front of the new dorm rooms to give you all the same warning he gave you that morning but none of it mattered as you walked over, hand in hand with each other because you loved him. You didn't know what was going to happen but you knew you'd work through it.

He was the one.

Sorry for the crummy ending but I think out of all the ends I tried this one sounded the best.

I hope you enjoyed my story. If you liked it I have others coming soon.
