Exiting Forks we see the sign and keep driving. No turning back now.
The drive south is extremely long and we really can't stop. Bella and I have called mom each a few times but she still hasn't picked up. Bella decides to call her again as we enter into Idaho.
"Hey, mom. It's me again. Um, you must have let your phone die or something. Liz and I are not in Forks, but everything's ok and we'll explain it later." Bella leaves the voicemail then ends the call.
I slump into her side and pop my earbuds in. 'Need You Now' by Lady Antebellum comes on.
Great. Just great. Exactly the song I need right now.
I watch as Alice reaches for Adam's hand across the center console and can't help but feel even more sad.
Come on.
Several hours later we get into Arizona and Adam pulls into the hotel parking lot. He parks the car and we all head inside.
Bella and I are sitting in the lobby while Alice and Adam get us a room. Bells is holding my hand while I'm starting to fall asleep in the chair I'm in. I think Bella notices because she taps my shoulder and motions for me to lean on her.
Just as I get comfy Adam and Alice walk up to us letting us know we have a room.
We grab our stuff and head up to said room.
We get in and I immediately head to take a shower. A near 24hr car ride with little to no stops is not what I had planned for this weekend.

Once everyone had a chance in the bathroom we just sit around and wait for some kind of call.
Alice and Adam are on the couch while Bella sits nervously on the one stool seat next to the coffee table. I however can't stop pacing and fidgeting.
My mind won't stop racing.
About Jasper and the other Cullens we left behind, dad and how he's doing, mom who hasn't answered her damn phone.
Alice gasping brings me out of my 'paralytic' state.
"What is it? What do you see?" Adam asks her, concerned for whatever she'd seen that caused her to intake so intensely.
