"Alright that's enough on you Adam, let's get to who she's really curious about." Emmet says winking in my direction. "Me of course." He says with a playful smirk. I just roll my eyes at his antics.
"Come on Emmet, we all know who she's the most curious about and it's definitely not you." Adam defends causing the others to chuckle. Emmet throws him a sarcastic smile grabbing a glass nearby and chucking it at his head. The other male catches it with a laugh and sets it safely on the table.
"Honestly as I said, I'm curious about all of you. Emmet if you wanna go next you're more than welcome to." I say giving him a gentle smile. "Thank you Liz." He replies pointedly looking at Adam who shrugs in response.
"I was born in 1915 and grew up in a small town of Tennessee. I was very adventurous as a child also very strong at that. I was the hunter and main provider in my family when one day I was in the woods a bear attacked me, didn't pay too much attention to the color of it but if I'm being honest I think it was red." He adds with a small chuckle. I give a slight smile back not really sure how he can look back at what happened and laugh about it, but it's Emmet.
"Unfortunately it didn't look like I was gonna make it, till Rosalie came along and saved me. She took me to Carlisle despite the bloodlust and the great distance it was from point A to point B. I still look at her as if she's an angel because let's be honest here, she clearly looks like one." He says pulling the woman against him tightly. She giggles at his words and leans into the hug.
The action and his words alone bring a wider smile to my lips. He truly loves her and holds her to the highest point he can. She's his everything.
"Alright now you're getting too sappy, even for me." Adam states as Alice wraps her arms around his neck. "You got a problem there Adam? Or is Alice just not paying you enough attention?" Emmet chides as he smirks in his direction.
"Ha ha ha very funny." Adam says casually making his way towards Emmet. Emmet realizing that he might get it from his older brother, starts to move away from him. Getting up he makes his way out of the kitchen and jumps out the open window. Adam following close behind.
Jasper shakes his head at the two while the rest of us laugh at their antics.
"I should probably go make sure Emmet doesn't kill Adam." Jas says getting up and following his brothers out the window.
I giggle looking back at those left in the room.
"So this family is made by coincidence yet everyone is so close. The years you've all spent together show." I say smiling lightly while looking between the other women. "We've all got a past and can relate very well, but most of all we take care of each other." Esme says as Rosalie moves next to her giving her a side hug.
"Every one of us is here for a reason, even you and Bella." Carlisle adds.
"You are apart of this family whether you wanted to be or not." Alice says suddenly behind me hugging her arms caringly around my shoulders. I place my hand on one of her arms flushing slightly feeling overwhelmed by the love from this family I've not known for very long.
