Rory doesn't know what is happening. Her vision goes black and she is taken back to a moment that had happened days earlier. She's back by that godforsaken river. The same moment keeps replaying over and over in her mind with flashes here and there of the faces belonging to those she loves. I'm going to die out here, she thinks, I'm going to die and I'm never going to be able to tell Bellamy the truth. I'm never going to see Octavia again or hug Clarke. Oh god, Jasper will have to break the news to Monty.

Tears stream down her face, her eyes still shut unable to catch even the smallest glimpse of the aftermath of what has happened. She feels a slight tug on her arm, like someone is trying to move her. The feeling quickly leaves her and is replaced, yet again, with the feeling of the spear. But there is something different this time. That's when she hears him. Bellamy, her eyes snap open. She can see him, running through the trees with Finn, Jasper and Zoe. They're safe, she thinks, that's all that matters.

She tries to call out to them, to tell them to stop and leave her. To warn them about the Grounders poised in the distance ready to let another spear fly through the air and take one of them. She can't let them be taken. Rory tries desperately to force some air into her lungs but just can't. As she lies on the floor trying to control her breathing, that's when she feels it: Blood. A lot of it. She can feel it soaking into her clothes, staining any bare skin it can find as it trickles down her body.

But it's not hers.

Rory forces herself to finally look around the tree she is now stood behind. She holds herself upright, her hand pressed against the tree for some support, and shakily steps forward. Rory chokes back a sob when she finally sees Roma. The force of the spear hitting her flung her backwards and into the tree, just like it had Jasper. Only this time, she's already gone. This time, the Grounders had one aim only: kill.

Her head has lolled to the side and her eyes are staring emptily at the ground. Rory reaches out, desperately wishing that she will find a pulse. She doesn't. All Rory feels is the still slightly warm skin of someone she had vowed to protect. Another of the Hundred is dead.

"There she is. Roma!" Rory hears Zoe whisper shout. At the sound of her friend's voice she steps away from Roma, still hidden from view by the tree.

"Where's Rory?" Bellamy whispers back, looking at the others with wide eyes.

The group cautiously approach Roma, weary of an imminent attack from the Grounders. As soon as they reach her they see why she didn't respond. They also see a shaking Rory. The girl in front of them looks nothing like the one that had left them to chase after Roma. Rory wraps her arms around herself, trying to hide her shaking hands. Her eyes dart around them and she can't even look at Bellamy.
