Clarke walks away from Bellamy and Rory, grabbing her pack from in her tent and a few handfuls of the hallucinogenic nuts. She meets Finn on the outskirts of camp and the two of them start to make their way to the meeting point. In camp, Bellamy and Rory prepare to leave. She gives Bellamy back his jacket, picking up her own from in her tent along with a few of her knives. There's no way she's going to forget to take them again. The two of them pass Miller and Monroe in the crowd and let them know they're leaving for a few hours and that they're in charge. Neither of them ask questions, quickly nodding their heads and telling Rory and Bellamy that they'll make sure the camp is safe. They stop off in Bellamy's tent on their way to collect some ammo for him to grab his axe and their rifles. Once they're loaded up with weapons their next and final stop is the ammo tent.
Whilst Bellamy and Rory are preparing to leave, Jasper enters the tent where Raven is making bullets. "Hey, hey! There you are! All right. Listen. We're playing drunk ball. I bet Monroe my team's gonna win the Unity Day title. That's for you." Jasper says, handing Raven one of the cups he's carrying. "I know you Zero-G mechs have crazy hand-eye skills, so, huh? What do you think? Must be better than whatever you're doing."
Raven smiles at him in amusement and lets out a small laugh when he clinks their glasses together. She shakes her head to herself and turns her attention back to the bullets on the desk in front of her. "I'm checking the gunpowder in these rounds so that if the Grounders try to kill us all maybe we can get a few shots off beforehand."
"Hmm. That's intense." Jasper mutters, his eyes wide. He turns his focus back to Raven. "Sure you know what you're doing?"
"Why does everyone keep asking me-" The round Raven is working on suddenly explodes, cutting her off mid-sentence and making both of them jump. "Damn!" Raven exclaims, shaking her hand trying to shake the pain out of it.
"You need a hand now that, you know, you almost blew one off?"
Raven glares at him. "I got this."
"Hey. No one's a better mechanic, all right, but this stuff requires a chemist. How'd you do in chemistry class? Hmm." Jasper asks. In response Raven sends him a pointed look. "Ahh. Well, the fates are smiling upon you, my friend. I was great in chemistry. Hmm." He the bullet from Raven's outstretched hand and taps it against his palm, causing the gunpowder to fall out. He lifts his palm to his nose and takes a whiff, instantly recoiling from the smell. "Oh! Nope. Oh, it's gassed off. Pretty sure the acidic smell means that the gunpowder's degraded."
Raven lets out a sigh and puts the bullet back onto the table but this time off to one side away from the others. "Better start a dud pile."
"You know, when my parents get here, they can mix us up some new gunpowder. My dad's gonna flip for this scrap metal. "My kingdom for a soda can." Heh." He says, a small smile on his face when he speaks of them. "That's what he always used to say. How about you? Got any family?"
