Leah parked the car in the first empty spot she saw,  and then we quickly got out. I couldn't wait to go shopping again with my friend and just live the normal life that I was meant to live before all of these wishes got in the way. First, I had been dead, then, I had gotten pregnant with a guy who I had just met. It was about time for something normal to happen.

As we entered the doors of Crestview mall, the familiar smell of freshly brewed Starbucks coffee filled my nose. This would be coming from the Starbucks shop right by the entrance. I smiled and looked at Leah for a minute before saying, "I think I know where we need to go first."

We both laughed at the same time before heading over to grab our favorite drinks. I liked how we almost have our own language. We can communicate through I motions, hand motions, mouthing words, and even in silence we understood each other perfectly!

Now it was my turn to order. I stepped up to the counter and said, "Can I get a tall Vanilla Latte please?"

The man behind the counter just nodded so after giving paying for my drink I stepped aside so that Leah could order her Caramel Macchiato. Again the man nodded and then went over to prepare our orders.

"So," Leah said as we stepped back for other customers. "Where do you want to go first?"

"Hmm. I thought maybe Abercrombie and Fitch."

"I love that store! Let's go there first. Then I want to look at Pandora for a new bracelet." Leah said excitedly.

I smiled and nodded. Then I heard the cashier call out that our order was ready and both of us stepped forward to claim our drinks.

We stepped back out into the main part of the mall and checked the map quickly. Abercrombie & Fitch, our first stop, was the last store in the section of the mall to our right. Pandora, our second stop, was only four stores down in the same section.

"Why don't we just go there first?", I suggested.

"Fine by me!" Leah said.

So it was decided that we would first stop at Pandora and then make our way to Abercrombie & Fitch.

I really did love shopping at Pandora, but their prices were a bit high for my budget. Most teenagers are looking into jobs at fast food places and such, or posting adds for lawns services at church,  but I didn't do that.

The only reason I earned the money that I had was from occasional babysitting jobs and allowance. Yes. I still did earn allowance.

Leah was different though. She had managed to get a job at the local Bath & Body Works, and had a fair amount  of money. Most of it was saved away for college, but she still saved some out to go to the mall and buy nice things.

As we entered the famous jewelry store I followed her over to the bracelets. These were our favorite things items to look at.

A lady at the counter above the case that held the bracelets asked "Can I help you girls find anything in perticular?"

"No thank you." I said and Leah smiled and nodded in agreement.

The lady smiled and nodded as well before turning away to help another customer.

I turned my gaze back to the jewels in front of me.

"Oh my god! This is the prettiest bracelet I've ever seen!" Leah said excitedly. It seemed that whenever we came here she found a new bracelet that was the 'prettiest bracelet she had ever seen'. I don't blame her to be honest.

"Oh that is pretty!" I said as I looked that the gold charm bracelet she was pointing to. It was indeed very pretty, but when I looked at the price tag I wondered how she would ever afford it. The bracelet cost $75.00.

"But Leah," I said "It's so expensive."

"I know." she said with a sigh "But I've been saving my money for a while now, so I think I can afford it."

I shrugged my shoulders as she went to pay for the bracelet. Then I turned back to the case and spotted my idea of the prettiest bracelet I had ever seen.

It was a silver charm bracelet with hearts.  One heart charm hung down in the center and silver beads with hearts on them were evenly placed on the sides. But this too was very expensive. Priced at $60.00, I would never be able to afford it.

"I wish I had enough money to buy it." I said with a sigh but then quickly clapped my hand over my mouth.

Could I ever stop wishing? The words had slipped right out, and now I had no clue what would happen next. I had only wished for more money, but how could I know that more money was all I would get?

Before I had wished for a big house, and along with a big house I had gotten an annoying best friend and a positive pregnancy test.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I felt someone tugging at my purse. I whirled around and saw.....no one! I reached for my purse and discovered that it was still there. I sighed a sigh of releif before checking my wallet.

When I checked, I was surprised to see a $100 bill in the place of the twenty dollars I had brought! My wish had come true, as always, and this time without anything else but what I asked for. Now it was my turn to pay for my item.

"I'll take this one please." I said, turning to the lady behind the counter.

She smiled as she scanned it and then handed it to me in a small box and bag.

"You ready to head over to our next stop?" Leah asked when I caught up to her at the entrance to the store.

I nodded 'yes' and we headed into Abercrombie & Fitch.

I loved this store. Their clothes were my style, and I loved to look at the pictures they had up. I had always envied the models and wished that one day I could be one. But I knew that that was a rediculous thing to ask for.

I contented myself with the fact that I had just gotten a brand new bracelet and then headed over to the tank tops.

It wasn't long before I had laid my eyes in a pink ombre tank top that criss crossed in the back. When I held it up in the mirror I was surprised at how much I liked the color. But it did look way better on the model.

She had perfectly tanned skin and a perfect figure to show off the top at it's best. I sighed.

"I wish I was a model." I said. Then I winced. I was sure to be swept away into another disaster now. I had wished to be a model.

My hand was burning from my second reminder tattoo and I soon felt the familiar cool breeze. The store around me started to spin, and I was again surrounded by blackness.
