Chapter 9

...The next morning...
It was the next morning and I wake up and notice I am not in my room. I look to my right and notice Sebastian, sitting up with his glasses on reading.

suddenly flashbacks of last night occur. I think of myself uncontrollably moaning and yelling out his name. A wave of embarrassment washes over me

"I see you are awake. Good morning, Miss Silverado."

"Good morning" I say with my head down trying not to look at him. Seeing him will only remind me of yesterday.

I look down and notice that I was not wearing my garment from last night.
I was wearing a men's shirt. It smelt like Sebastian.

Sebastian looks at me and notices me examining the shirt
"I had to change you out of what you were wearing previously as it had been soiled." Sebastian says with a smile.

"Thanks."
There was a moment of awkward pause

"so... last night...was nice. Anyhow, bye."

I get up and start to speed walk away with my head down when suddenly Sebastian grabs my wrist and twirls me towards him. He lifts up my chin with his finger so I am facing him and gently kisses me on my lips.

"No need to be embarrassed kitten. You can think of last night as the beginning of something great. And you certainly were not embarrassed when you got on you knees and-"

"Alright! Please, spare me the details."

"Anyways, how about we pretend yesterdays events did not occur? I was caught in the moment as were you."

"That is the last thing I want to happen Miss Silverado. Besides, I told you ; As of yesterday you are now mine."

He rubs his thumb across my collar bone and admires the area. I look down and notice. A reddish purple spot.

"And this... a sign of my affection."

He cranes his neck and kisses the area gently. I moan quietly. The area was still tender but the mixture of pleasure and pain oddly felt good.

"Now, let us get ready for our day shall we. I have taken the leisure of preparing a hot bath for you."

"Thanks"

"If you like I can join?"

"Um no thanks." I say shutting the door of the bathroom behind me.

I get ready and put on my clothes for the day. I make sure to wear a top where the collar went up to my neck. I walk down stairs and see Ciel sitting at the table with Sebastian standing beside him as usual.

"Good morning Miss Silverado." Says Ciel

"Good morning Ciel."
I say with a smile while picking at some fruit on my plate.

"We have a rather long day ahead of us. Today, we are going to visit Lau to collect further insight on the opium case. We will require your assistance as well of course."

"Alright then. What did you need my help for exactly?"

"There has been rumours lately that Lau has been involved in selling deadly opium. I need you to look into his past for any proof of this speculation."

"Ciel did you say past!? I have only done such a thing once and I..."

"Is there a problem Miss Silverado?"

"I nearly died Ciel.
Listen, for gypsies, looking into the future comes naturally. But it's unnatural for us to look into the past. It affects our bodies in very negative ways. The only known gypsy able to do so was..."

"Who?"

"My mother. And through the process of her intense training to learn she lost her right eye."

"I have heard of many gypsies looking into the past before."
Says Sebastian

"That is fake. Many gypsies will do anything to give their customers the full experience. If a person asks for a gypsy to analyze their past, the medium will seldom refuse. Gypsies give fraudulent past analyzations by stating vague and obvious facts."

"So what you are saying to me is that the spell is
possible?"

Ciel! This stubborn blasted idiot! Did he not apprehend a word I just said?

"Yes. But it is extremely dangerous and-"

"Miss Silverado I hope you know who you are speaking to. I get what I want. And in regards to your well being there shall be no worries, do not fret. We will not let you die. You are much to valuable an asset to this estate. I think you forget just how powerful you are."
Says Ciel as he sips his tea

"You will practice the past trance on Sebastian and we will meet back here by the end of the day to see Lau."

Ciel puts down his cup of tea and leaves the dining room.

I frown. Ugh what a dramatic exit. And Sebastian really! I do not completely mind spending time with him.
However... I worry that I might act awkwardly towards him.

As Ciel is walking up the stairs he looks back
"oh, and do try to keep your clothes on while together. You two were obnoxiously loud yesterday evening. It was as if I was listening to wild animals."

Heat rushes to my face and my jaw falls. I look at Ciel eyes wide and he continues to walk up the stairs.

I look over and see Sebastian smiling at me.

"Shall we get to practicing?" He says

"You look much too happy for someone who is about to be my test subject Mr. Michaelis."

"Oh but my master has given me a direct order to spend the day with you. How could I not be Ecstatic?"

I giggle.
What? I never giggle. Am I some sort of young school girl?

I clear my throat

"I am letting you know now that this will not be easy for me and definitely not for you."

"I am certain I will be able to handle it. After all, I am one hell of a butler."

I roll my eyes playfully at him

"Now then, let us begin!"
