CHAPTER NINE

I flip though the TV channels, not settling on any particular channel. I am definitely bored.
Sleeping on the couch for the whole day ain't a joke. I just want to lay low for sometime before I go out once more. I am sure the Shawn boy must have realised the damage I caused and he must be running up and down looking for me. Well, if he gets lucky enough, I will return the documents and his mum's clothes... But not the dollars😉
Dinner time is here and I'm lucky Sonia is around to cook for me otherwise I would have microwaved some leftovers. My lazy self won't allow me to cook even a simple meal.

I can't just forget that one time when my auntie brought an ugly looking man to me. He needed my services.
I had just got used to the task. I rarely complained. Once in the room, the ugly man stripped naked and I could help but feel nauseated by his ugly ass.

He started.
His voice was equally nauseating.
"I am not interested in you body so no need to undress. All I want is for you to kiss my ass..... I mean, suck it! "

I exclaimed.

He ordered me to wash my hands as he used the bathroom to take a shower.
Donna has seen it all the few years she has been in this heartless world.

The old man came back, and lay down on the bed, his wrinkled buttocks positioned in a dog style position.

Sonia leaves in a huff after serving dinner. I guess she has her own stuff to take care of.
I overhead her having a heated conversation on phone with someone. It's not like I was eaves dropping😜
I munch on my food quietly, sometimes browsing through my handset. I can't stop thinking about Gabriel. What if he gets to know what I did in his parents' house.
Yeah. He is Shawn's bro the one involved in illegal businesses.
I roll and toss on my bed through out the night. Today of all other days, it feels so uncomfortable. It's like the mattress has been replaced with a layer of stones.
Gab can't get out of my mind.
I can picture him blowing up my brains and feeding them to his dogs.
Poor Donna...
When I finally fall asleep, nightmare after nightmare replace my peaceful night. I can't sleep anymore. I walk to my fridge and pull out a bottle of beer. I need to distract myself. I gulp down the contents in one sip, hoping to just black out and wake up when the day breaks.
Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to happen.
I remember a bottle of scotch I grabbed on my way out from Shawn's  bungalow. I had placed it in the kitchen cabinet. I take it out and gulp down the contents, not minding the scorching effect it has on my throat.
It's effects work wonders because I slumber on the couch and I do not wake up till late the next day....
