The Change

"What?!" I got up from my place and looked at her.

"I should go check on her" I said as I was about to walk towards the door but she stopped me as she held me by my arm.

"She's at work, you know her parents right, they are pretty strict about her and stuff" she said. "I'm sorry I wasn't there at that moment. I was with Sai. It's all my mistake. I could've avoided that." She sighed.

"But after that there was a lot of drama, Naruto was about to beat the shit of Karin but Hinata stopped him and then Sasuke.. he, he almost slapped Karin and she walked out of the school" She said as she got up "did you talk to Sasuke or something?"

He..

"No." I said. "Karin came here"

"Sakura I'm telling you, she's gonna get it from me right now!" she said.

"Not now, but if she hurts anyone of us again we won't spare her" I said.

"Hmm..." she said.

We talked for a while and then she decided to leave.

"So you're coming today right?" She asked

Oh yeah.. she had a party around the weekend.

"Yeah I'm coming.. wait is that even a question?" I smiled.

"Just checking Sakura bye!" She gave me a quick hug and I returned it. Atleast I've some good friends.

Before I could turn back and close the door Naruto was running towards my house.

He gaped his mouth as he looked at me and I gave him a shrug.

"You look different. What's with all those piercings and tattoo?" He asked.

"Is that the reason you came here?" I lifted my right brow.

"No but. Okay what's wrong why are you not picking up my calls and even not replying? Do you know I came here this morning and I was shouting for about half an hour and you didn't even reply!" He pouted.

He was panting too.

"I overslept. I'm sorry." I said

"What's up with you.. you don't apologise normally" he said as he got in and sat on the couch.

"Here" I handed him a bowl of nachos. "Currently a lot things"

"You know you can talk to me right?" He asked

"I know. But there's nothing I can talk about" I said.

He nodded and he munched the nachos. So loudly, that even I felt bad for the nachos.

"I know what happened to Hinata today" I said as my eyes pierced through his.

"I'm not sparring that bitch trust me" he said as his eyes got serious. "Why did that teme even date such a girl?"

"I don't know. And most importantly I don't care." I said.

"Yo Sakura-chan" he looked at me "he is your friend."

"He was my friend" I said "long back. He doesn't even care about me anymore"

"That's not true. He is just an idiot who always hides his feelings behind a mask and you know that." He said

"Chuck it Naruto, you tell me. Are you going to Ino's party today?"

"Totally" He said.

We talked for a while and he finished the whole nachos bowl and I simply smiled.
