Apology

"I'm sorry Sakura" he whispered under his breath.

"Sorry? What for?" I didn't expect that.

"For everything" He said.

The thought of Sasuke apologising me was enough to break me down.

"Damn it Sasuke" I said wiping the tears that formed at the corners of my eyes

"I'm sorry" he repeated.

"Huh-" I said but I was choking.

"I heard and saw stuff, I didn't know you suffered so much because of me." He said. His eyes had softened. Something I had never seen before. "I'm sorry Sakura"

I didn't know what to say to him.

"I'm sorry" he said again after a minute.

"Till when are you planning to apologise?" I asked him while wiping my tears.

"Until you don't forgive me" he said.

I let out a weak smile.

He got on his feet held my face straight and kissed my forehead.

The touch of his lips on my skin seemed to be a blessing. It felt like a huge burden had been lifted from my heart.

"Let's go" he said and took me to his car.

I didn't bother to ask where we were going because I pretty much had an idea.

"One cappuccino and hot chocolate" Sasuke said to the employee at the counter, holding my hand.

He walked with my hand in his till we found a comfortable seat for ourselves.

"Sasuke" I said and he looked up at me "why did you break up with Karin?"

I know it's maybe not the right time to ask that but my ears were itching to know the answer.

"I had dated her for the sake of her sister not because I liked her. Her sister helped Itachi get better. But the fact that she'd follow me here, annoyed me so much that I couldn't control myself. And some other things came up too and I just had to break up with her." He said

"Oh" I expected him to say something else.

We got our drinks and slurped it real quick.

Come to think of it,
Everything about him has become so different. I believed that I knew everything about him. The times he was sad and suffering on the inside I could never understand what he was actually going through. And I called myself I friend? Wow, Sakura!

We left costa and he dropped me home.

"Umm.. the model?" I asked him.

"We'll do it tomorrow" he said and I nodded.

I got out of the car and walked to my house.

It was a long day.

I got inside tied my hair into a ponytail and wore skinny leggings with a full sleeved shirt.

I cleaned my house all over again.

After cleaning, I started studying. It was around 5 in the evening that I began.

I studied continuously for I don't know how long because I fell asleep on my table and was awoken by the Sun rays kissing my face.

"Ughh" It's morning already.

I cleaned myself up and prepared some food. I hadn't taken any dinner yesterday So I felt pretty empty.

After taking the breakfast which consisted of lemon juice and a single toast I started studying again. Midterms were starting and I had to revise through everything.

I also sent an email to my parents about me being okay because if I don't they'll get tensed up and start calling all my friends.

I finally switched on my phone after keeping it on charge.

50 missed calls from Sasori from the past two days. 46 from Ino, 44 from Naruto and 33 from Hinata.

I had got them worried. And about the texts they are nearly infinite. I dared not to open it.

I had plenty of voicemails too but I didn't bother. I switched it off again and started to study again.

I studied for only 4 hours when I got up at the ringing of the doorbell

Who is it?

I hurried up to the door and was not-so-surprised to see Sasuke.

Oh yes the project.

Cmon act like you remembered.

"Hi" I said.

"Hn" he entered without me telling him to.

"Let's do the project" I said and he nodded. I took a seat across him and we bonded the wires together. My hand touched his multiple times but he didn't bother it.

Sasuke's POV

She looked weak. Her slender hands held the connections tight. After joining them she got up to get me some water. As she approached I noticed her getting wobbly in her steps. She couldn't control anymore and passed out.

I took her in my arms and carried her to the hospital.

What has she been doing to herself?

I rushed to the elevator of the hospital and laid her onto the hospital bed.

I explained them what happened and the doctor quickly checked on her.

I waited impatiently outside the room pacing back and forth.

After about 15 minutes he came outside.
