Chapter 7.

I rolled over and switched the alarm off.

It was 9:30am.

"Shit," I murmured under my breathe.

"Darcey! Wake up please!" I screamed, we were meant to be ready for 10am. Doesn't look like that's happening.

I quickly got Darcey ready and told her to go downstairs and play.

I threw on some leggings and a white crop top with lace at the bottom, I grabbed my pair of black vans and ran down the stairs. I brushed my hair, the curls were loose and they looked really nice. I put on my usual make up then made Darcey some breakfast.

"Darcey! Come get some breakfast!" it was 9:45, we were used to rushing so we were really good at it.

I fed Darcey her breakfast and quickly ate mine, "Darcey we need to go brush our teeth!" I giggled, she always hated brushing so I tried my best to make it fun for her, it was obviously working as she skipped up the stairs beside me.

Once we'd brushed our teeth it was 10:05, Ashton still wasn't here yet, part of me began to have them thoughts but I let them slide as I grabbed my bag and put Darcey's coat on.

Just as I was sliding my coat on the doorbell rang, Darcey was singing, standing beside me jiggling about, I haven't told her where we're going today so she has no idea why we're up so early.

I opened the door to reveal a very handsome man stood in front of me, "oh, hello handsome." I winked.

"Good morning, how are my two beautiful girls this morning?"

"Daddy!" Darcey screamed and clung to his leg.

"We're good thank you."

"Are you both ready? I've left the car running out the front."

"Yep, come on Darce."

"Coming mummy." she clung to Ashton's arm as I locked the door, it was really cute watching them together.

We walked down the stairs, through the reception and out into the car.

"Daddy, where are we going?" Darcey asked.

"We're gonna take you to the zoo!"

"The zoo?!" Darcey squealed as Ash was strapping her in the car seat.

"Yes sweetie." He laughed.

"Yay!" she cheered.

The ride to the zoo was very... Loud? To say the least, we had songs blaring from the radio and Darcey squealing in the back, me and Ashton were singing loudly.

"Oh my god, do you remember when we used to get drunk on the roof of that building back in Australia?" he whispered and moved his hand to rest on my thigh. I laughed at the memories, "when Luke and Michael used to have the little arguments then end up play fighting?" I laughed.

"Yeah," he laughed.

"And when we got kicked off by the police for being to loud?"

"Those were the days." I laughed.

"I'm glad we're where we are now Sam, I'm glad we're like this again."

"Ashton?"

"Yeah?"

"I am too, I'm so happy right now."

"Me too baby, me too." My stomach fluttered at the use of the word baby, he always used to call me that.

I smiled at him when his hand jolted from my thigh to the volume dial, "do you remember this song?" He laughed.

"Oh god, yes!" I laughed, it was 'Tonight Tonight' by Hot Chelle Rae, the first band 5 Seconds of Summer ever supported. I knew the guys of this band from gigs that Ashton had let me come along to. This was when they really started to get big, Hot Chelle Rae were quite big back in Oz and it was nice to hear them on the radio in the UK.
