Today was the day I was allowing Ashton to see his daughter. It was a big step for me because I still love him but I can't forgive him, not yet anyway. He was coming over at 11am and for some reason, I was running around making sure everything was clean and tidy and that Darcey was slightly respectable for when her father came round and again she asked the question about where and who he was. "Mummy?"

"Yes?"

"When will I see my daddy?"

"Well...Today. He's coming to see you."

"YAYYY!!" She screamed, running around the room. This was going to be a long day.

I managed to calm Darcey down and get her playing with her toys by the time Ashton knocked on the door. Ashley had gone out so we could have 'space to talk' which was kind of her. Knowing her, she was probably out with Luke. There was a knock on the door at exactly 11am and as I opened it, Ashton was stood there smiling from ear to ear. "Come in."  I stepped aside so he could get in, the smile never leaving his face.

"It's a nice place you got here. Again, thank you so much for letting me see her." I weakly smiled.

"She's in the lounge." He kicked his shoes off and hung his jacket up, something I always admired about him, he was so neat and always happy. I slowly walked in behind him and saw him bend down next to Darcey.

"DADDY!" It's like she knew all along. She flung her arms round his neck and he picked her up, hugging her so tight, making up for the past 2 years.

"Cup of tea?"

"Please."

"Usual?" I questioned before thinking.

"You remember what I have?"

"How could I forget?" I smiled before turning round and walking to the kitchen.

When Darcey ran up to me screaming 'Daddy', I knew that Sam must have told her about me. And I was glad. When Sam went to the kitchen to make some tea, I placed Darcey back on the ground and began playing with her and her toys. "Daddy?"

"Yes sweetheart?"

"Where have you been?" And there was the dreaded question. I didn't know what Sam had specifically said to her about where I've been for the past 2 years but I had an idea.

"I'm in a music group with my 3 best friends and we have to travel allll over the world, so I've been everywhere."

"Cool! Can I meet the people?"

"Sure you can sweetie." And with that the conversation ended and we carried on playing with her toys.

When I came back in with the tray full of tea and biscuits, I saw Ashton on the floor dressed in a pink tutu, crown, plastic jewellery and an attempt at make-up on his face. I tried hard to stifle my laugh but it didn't work and I burst out laughing. "Wow Ash, you look...different." Tears were forming in my eyes as I carried on laughing. Suddenly I stopped. "Wait was it that on your lips?"

"Lipstick duh."

"No what lipstick?" He handed me the broken lipstick which happened to be my favourite one. "DARCEY!" I shouted storming upstairs. "WHAT are you doing?" I caught her coming out of my bedroom. "What have I told you about going into mummy's room and using her stuff?"

"But I want to make Ashton look pwetty."

"Yes and that's all good but you do NOT use mummy's stuff, this was my favourite lipstick and it's broken now, that cost a lot!"
