"H-have you ever heard of s-symbiotes?"
A couple hours ago
Pennywise had teleported back to The House of Weirdness.
"Ah, I'm back. And this time, Hartman's not going to stop me."
He got off of the carpetball table, and headed upstairs. He was just about to go into Terra's room when he saw something.
No. Someone.
"Who are you?" Pennywise asked.
"I am a friend. Facilier's the name."
"How do I know I can trust you?" The clown asked.
"Because I know The Dark One."
Pennywise stopped, getting interested.
"What do you want?"
"The same thing as you. Hartman and his friends dead. They keep interfering with my plans."
"So, you're suggesting we work together?" Pennywise guessed.
"Oh, more than that. I've come to give you a gift."
Facilier pulled out the box.
"This contains power. Ultimate power. Stronger than the Tesseract."
"Really? Stronger than the space portal?"
"It attaches to the body and gives it power. All I have to do is open this."
Pennywise thought for a moment.
"What do you need in return?" He asked.
"Nothing. Just a little time is all I need."
"Deal."
Facilier opened the box.
The black tar-looking substance slipped out of the container and floated towards Pennywise.
He touched it, and soon, his hand was covered.
"What is this?" Pennywise asked.
"Something dark."
The tar covered his arms, then his legs.
"What's happening? I can't move!"
It covered his feet and torso.
Pennywise screamed, and it covered his head.
He awoke in total darkness.
"Whoa... Where am I?"
"PENNYWISE..."
Pennywise jumped, a little frightened.
"Who's there?"
"RELAX. I CAN HELP YOU. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS COOPERATE."
The voice was everywhere.
"Can you help me kill Hartman?"
"I CAN HELP YOU WITH EVERYTHING."
"Who are you?"
"THERE IS NO ME OR YOU ANYMORE. JUST US."
"Uh, then what is our name?" Pennywise asked, longing to know.
"WE... ARE VENOM."
Suddenly, Pennywise woke up. He was standing in front of Facilier, just like before.
"What happened?" Pennywise asked.
"You transformed." Facilier replied.
"What did you see? What have I become?"
"A symbiote."
With that, Facilier teleported.
Unsure of what to do, Pennywise teleported as well, trying to find Sergeant Hartman.
