The pack noticing Jordan and Lydia’s different attitudes towards each other.

Stiles.

It all started at a Friday afternoon at the station. Stiles was bringing dinner to his father’s work because he was working over time. The first thing he noticed once he dropped off his father’s dinner on his desk was Lydia inside Parrish’s office. Stiles might have moved on from Lydia, but they were still friends. He couldn’t help but be curious. Lydia has been spending her time a bit too often in the station and whenever she was in the station, she would always be with Parrish.

“Lydia’s here again?” Stiles asked his father.

“Uh… yeah. She has been helping Parrish with his cases.” The Sheriff shrugged as he opened up the container of food, smelling the delicious smell of the food. Stiles watched his father ate his food and looked over his shoulder to watch Lydia and Parrish. Lydia was laughing at something Parrish said, and they were both reaching for a file on his desk when both of their hands touched. Stiles couldn’t help but smirked at them. They both froze as they stare into each other’s eyes. Stiles just chuckled and shook his head. Those two were definitely something.

    “Everything okay?” The Sheriff asked.

“Yes. There are just some people that really knows how to act like they don’t have feelings for someone but there are also others that is just too obvious.”

The Sheriff raised his eyebrows and leaned to looked over at Parrish and Lydia who was in Parrish’s office across from his office. Stiles chuckled and looked over his shoulder seeing Parrish, giving them a shy smile before closing the door of his office. The Sheriff’s eyes widened at his son as they both laughed.

“I guess they want privacy.” The Sheriff said, shaking his head.

They weren’t together, but Stiles definitely saw something different there. Maybe something special

Scott.

It was 7:00pm at a Saturday night when Scott first realized that there was something different between Parrish and Lydia. He was parking his motorcycle in front of a store when he saw Parrish and Lydia sitting by the window of a frozen yogurt shop. Scott knew she has been spending time with Parrish, but he didn’t actually thought they took that outside the office too. It has been a while since Scott saw Lydia smiling like that. I guess he should just be happy for them but that doesn’t stop Scott’s feet to move forward and walked towards the frozen yogurt shop.

“Hey guys!” Scott smiled, stepping inside the shop.

Parrish and Lydia looked at Scott in surprised. It wasn’t just surprised. They looked like they have been caught doing something bad.

“Scott.” Lydia smiled. “What are you doing here?”

“Oh. My mom told me to buy something next door when I saw you guys. What are you guys doing here?” Scott pulled up a chair and sat next to them.

“Uh…” Lydia gave Parrish a look.

“I took Lydia for some frozen yogurt to thank her for helping me.” Parrish smiled slightly.

Scott nodded his head. He wasn’t believing their excuse, but he didn’t force to ask more questions. Scott stood up from the chair and pat Parrish’s back.

“Well, enjoy. I’m gonna go next door.” Scott smiled before leaving the shop. As he walked back towards the store next door, he looked over his shoulder and smiled. There was definitely something different going on there.

Kira & Malia.

Kira and Malia never really believed what Scott and Stiles have been gossiping about Lydia and Parrish. They thought Lydia was really just helping the Deputy. That was it. They never believed them until they caught Lydia’s private conversation with him when they were at the station on a Monday afternoon. The pack were discussing about the new death they have found on a parking lot. Kira and Malia looked up from the horrible disgusting pictures of the victim and saw Lydia and Parrish talking on the corner of the office. They both exchanged looks before Malia paid her attention to their conversation. She could hear the conversation even if it was just whispers.

    “Are you okay?” Parrish asked.

Lydia nodded her head. “Yes. Thanks. I’m used to it.”

“You shouldn’t have seen that. What happened out there was pretty terrifying.”

Lydia sighed and didn’t say a word. Malia raised her eyebrow as soon as Parrish set his hand on her back and rubbed it gently to comfort her.

“You know who to call when you need anything.” Parrish said.

Lydia nodded before walking back towards the Sheriff’s desk and Parrish walking out of the office. Malia smiled slightly as she smelled their scents.

“What?” Kira whispered. “What did you hear?”

“There is definitely something different going on between those two.” Malia whispered back, giggling.

Kira smiled and looked at Lydia for a second who was arguing with Stiles about the plan. Kira and Malia shrugged and paid their attention back to the conversation between the Sheriff and Scott.

Derek.

Derek was the most oblivious from the whole pack. He has spent some of his time with Parrish and Lydia in the crime scenes, but he never noticed the different surrounding when Parrish and Lydia talked to each other until when he was called by the Sheriff to another crime scene that happened in a store. When Derek got to the scene, the first thing he saw was a shaken up Lydia with tears in her eyes. Of course she would be here. She was a banshee. She knew a death will happen before it occurs, but what really caught Derek’s eyes was the fact that Parrish was holding her in his arms like he was her boyfriend. His jacket was over Lydia’s shoulders and he was comforting her. Derek’s eyebrows furrowed. He never knew they were that close to each other.

“Good you’re here.” He heard the Sheriff’s voice.

Derek glanced at the Sheriff who stood next to him. He didn’t say anything and just gave the Sheriff a look, motioning his head towards Parrish and Lydia. The Sheriff held his hands up in surrender.

“Trust me. I don’t know the answer to your question.” The Sheriff shrugged.

“Are they that close?” Derek asked.

    “Apparently…” The Sheriff chuckled.

“There is something different between them.”

The Sheriff sighed, nodding his head. “Just keep quiet. Everyone hasn’t said anything about it. I think they make each other happy.”

Derek chuckled, glancing back at Parrish and Lydia. Parrish was now taking Lydia towards his car and let her sat on the passenger seat before kissing her head and closed the passenger seat door. Derek shook his head, smiling and followed the Sheriff towards the crime scene.
