13 Hallager Street [INCOMPLETE]

5. More secrets???

Shane's POV

I drive up to Katie's house. I've made sure to make my hair perfect, and it was not easy to achieve the styled-yet-messy hairstyle I put together. I spent quite a while picking what to wear for tonight. Now all that's left to do is to knock and bring her to dinner.

My heart palpitates when I knock on her door. Breathe, you got this. I tell myself.

The door opens, and Katie stands in a silky, red dress. It hugs her curves and flows down her legs. My eyes widen to the point where my eyeballs amost drop out when I see how low her neckline goes.

"Like what you see?" She asks teasingly. I want to say "Heck yes Katie, marry me already."  But instead, I say "Don't get so full of yourself Kate."

We step into the car and I'm excited to see what she thinks about our dinner place. She may not know this, but when the time comes, I'm going to tell her that I'm the son of the owner of a multi-billion dollar agency. Which means, I'm pretty damn rich.

My father doesn't just own any business agency though, he owns an agency of secret agents. And me? I'm just his recruit. I've been messing up quite a lot lately, and I almost revealed his identity to the enemy agency. I'm lucky he hasn't sent anyone to kill me yet though, considering how much he values his work over me. He can't "risk having his identity revealed". I feel bitter thinking about this.

As for Katie, I'm not sure how she'll react to me being a secret agent and all, but hopefully she won't try to stop me from continuing my work. Even worse if she asks to join the agency. The dangers associated with my job... I just can't risk her. 

I may not have known Katie for very long, but she makes me feel like improving myself to become a better me. None of my ex girlfriends have made me feel as whole and complete as Katie. Because of this, I feel like I need to keep her safe from the dangers of the secret agent world.

But God forbid me not telling her. If I'm going to date her, I'll have to tell her eventually. When I trust her enough to not reveal my secret, I'll tell her, I'll tell her that I'm an agent of White Shadow.

13 Hallager Street hit #124 in spy, and #4 in femmefatale yesterday!!!! YAYYY! It seems kinda small, but for me? I literally just joined Wattpad slightly over a week ago so 4th place makes me really happy :) And 124 is out of like 893?!?! LIKE WHAT I'M SHOOOOOOK

On a side note, I am evil for doing this to Katie and Shane MUAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH XD

Isn't it sad that they don't know that the other is an enemy agent? Katie knows he needs to be killed yeah, but she doesn't know her works for White Shadow ;)

Sorry this chapter was a little short and simple, but I revealed something huge so HAHAHA

The next chapter is going to be a little more low-key and laid back because mY eNd oF yEaR eXaMs are hereeeee, so I can't really write long and dramatic chapters, but I'll try my best :))

I post new chapters every Friday and Sunday around 5pm SGT

(SGT = UCT or GMT + 8 hours)
