THE ARRANGED LOVE

Chapter 3

Now as everyone must have anticipated this moment......

LIAM'S POV

I am as people call the handsome and dashing billionaire playboy. But when it comes to business, I am a ruthless bastard. Time means money and if people waste my time, oh boy, they can't save themselves from my wrath. 

People think that I am a playboy and I take disadvantage of my money, but thats all what the tabloids and magazines have to say about me. All the money that I have is through my hardwork and determination. But no one gives a piece of shit about that. All people need is gossip. Who did what......Who is sleeping with who......I can't understand what's so fascinating about all this shit.

Back to me. I am the CEO of Gray Enterprises. It is one of the top tech companies in New York. Though this company was started by my grandfather, my dad and I have worked hard to make it what it is today. My dad had retired 3 years back and had handed this company over to me. For me this company is a proof of my family's legacy and of all my hardwork. To me nothing is more important than my family and this company.

"Nikki, dammit where is my coffee?" I yell at my new assistant. My last assistant was good at her job but she made the mistake of having feelings for me. I slept with her once and she thought that I love her. Love, that one word that I hate the most. Love is for people who have no life and nothing else better to do. For me I don't have time for shit like love. Love is just a fantasy. In real life people just go for good looks and money, which thankfully I both have. I hate mixing business with pleasure but a guy has needs you know. 

"I am sorry sir, I was just emailing the documents, I forgot about your coffee."   "Do I pay you for forgetting things," I growled. "I am sorry sir, I'll get your coffee now." Nikki literally ran out of the room in tears. Well what can I say, I have that effect on people.

A few minutes later there is a knock on my door. "Come in."  My dad walks in. "Dad you don't need to knock you know." "Well, son, I don't want to walk in on your private moments." dad said with sarcasm.

Dad hates my playboy ways but he doesn't interfere as long as it doesn't affect the business. "So dad what brings you to my office so early."

"Liam, I have a proposition for you," dad said in a serious. This is getting interesting now. But why do I have an intense feeling that whatever dad wants to say would just change my life.

"Ok dad, you got my attention." I am more curious now. "Liam, I'll make this short and simple." "I have arranged your marriage with my best friend's daughter."
