"Please?"
I looked down.
"Can we talk about you first?"
He frowned slightly.
"But-"
"Please?"
He sighed, nodding slowly.
"So.. how's it going with Jess?"
He smiled to himself, eyes sparkling a bit.
My heart broke slightly, but I hid it with a small smile.
"We're.. doing great."
I nodded, laying back on his bed.
"Colby.."
His fingers trailed up my arm slowly before resting themselves in my hair.
"What's going on?"
I looked over at him, meeting his now sad eyes.
"I'm in love with someone I shouldn't be in love with."
He was silent for a moment, his face blank.
I couldn't read any of his emotion, scanning his face over and over again.
"Who?"
I blinked slightly, turning my head away from him.
His fingers began moving, playing with my hair.
I closed my eyes and bit my lip.
"That's a secret, Sammy."
