Okay, maybe this should've been two separate chapters... it's a lot all at once... anyways, Love ya!

It had been 8 minutes since Jungkook had come back with a beach mat and two towels, and his anxious heart was beating faster by the second. Leaned back on his palms, his legs stretched out on the mat and head turned to the sky.

He listened to small waves pattering on wet sand and wind zipping past his ears. The breeze wasn't harsh; it was calming and fresh. Despite the serenity of his little beach, surrounded on both sides by tall rocks in the sand, he couldn't help but fidget.

The past two days, Taehyung had beaten him here by what could have been hours. Where is he? He seems like such an available person, what could be keeping him?

And then he heard it: the mumble of a deep, charming voice. It was coming from somewhere not too far out in the ocean. Jungkook smiled as he brought himself to a stand. Although maybe not the best time for it in regards to yesterday, Kookie saw this as the perfect opportunity for a little scare.

Hands out in front of him, Kookie tried his best to keep his balance as he waded quietly through the water. He followed the noise to a clump of tall rocks, sensing Tae had probably hidden behind them so he could practice his explanation.

It wasn't hard to guess, as he could hear Taehyung repeating phrases like "I'm sorry for-" and "I left because-". Listening to all of this, he silently climbed to a seated position on the smooth stone he heard Tae behind. The boy smirked as he waited for the right time to interject.

"Look, I should not have left you out here by yourself, and I'm really, truly sorry. It's just that-"

"Just that what?" Jungkook asked, swinging his legs to hang over the side of the stone Taehyung leaned against. The mer jumped and looked up, giving a small yelp that made Kookie giggle.

"How long have you been there?!" questioned the Tae, admiring the face of the boy who was always staring blankly into the ocean. The boy leaned over, almost smacking Taehyung in the face while trying to put a hand on his shoulder. Kookie angled his face somewhat towards his friend.
"How long have you been murmuring to yourself?" he replied, an angelic grin making cute tiny dimples on either side of his coral tinted lips. Taehyung was already blushing.
He glanced at his tail, shrugging with faux nonchalance as a wave brushed just below where Kookie's hand rested. "I don't know," he said in a barely audible tone. He glanced up once again.

"I'm sorry for leaving so suddenly. That was rude of me. I just have a very close friend who's constantly worried about where I ran off to, and he screamed when he saw us... together... because I hadn't told him about you, and we live on a boat which is why we left by swimming out to sea, and I was worried all last night if you were ok, and if you want to meet Jimin. I can bring him to meet you sometime, and-" Taehyung stopped as Jungkook squeezed his shoulder.

"It's okay. I'm not upset anymore, but I will be if you leave me in the middle of nowhere like that again," explained Jungkook in a measured, mature tone. "Let's continue this later today. For now, we can just hang out."

As Taehyung peered up at perfection, his eyes widened when he saw two wondrous feet on either side of him. He immediately grabbed the one on his right, feeling the strange transition from soft skin on the top to rough skin on the bottom. He marveled at the five, cute little finger-like things that scrunched up when he touched them.

"S-stop, stop. I-I'm ticklish there," laughed Jungkookie as the other boy played with his toes. When Tae brushed his fingers along the interior of his foot's arch, Kookie lost his balance and tumbled forward.
