Hehe this is basically a fluff chapter... Love ya!

It wasn't until several hours later that Taehyung returned, almost fainting when he found Jimin in a deep sleep on his bed. He went to Chim and snuggled in next to the boy, Jimin's gentle nature immediately calming Taehyung's nervous shivers.

"Where were you," he whispered, not sure if Jimin could hear him. Chimchim rustled and wrapped his arms around Tae for comfort.

"I was patrolling the area," Jimin replied, immediately feeling the weight of the lie. Thankfully, Taehyung accepted this answer by snuggling deeper into Jimin's hug, simply happy his friend was safe.

They both shut their eyes and twisted their tails together, soaking up the feeling of tranquil safety for a while. When Jimin was rested enough, he signaled this to Tae by tickle fighting him until they both hurt from laughing.

"Okay, okay. You win," giggled Taehyung, surrendering to his friend. Tae gave a mischievous look to Jimin. "Let's talk boys."

Chim gave a high pitched, bubbly laugh in return, eager to hear about Taehyung's mystical human crush. It had hurt to hear before, but he now accepted Tae's excited rambling about Jungkook.

He took Taehyung's hand and pulled him into the Happy Room, a spherically shaped cave decorated with pink and orange coral, huge colorful shells, starfish, and kelp pillows woven with different ocean flowers.

Jimin curled his tail to the side and hugged a pillow, patting the floor for Tae to sit in front of him. Taehyung sat in a similar style facing Jimin. He looked off into space and remembered his day with Jungkook, then turned and smiled to Jimin with love embedded in his eyes.

"He kissed me," Taehyung gushed, putting out the most major detail first. Jimin's jaw dropped, as he had expected only news of playing in the ocean and admiring 'Jungkook's beautiful features'. Taehyung nodded and giggled, adorably placing his hands on his cheeks to hide his blushing face.

"It was perfect: quick, but feeling like forever. It only happened once. Oh, it was so new, so exciting! My tail tingled, and my head got dizzy, and the only thing that stopped the world from spinning was looking at him. It felt like he was the last piece of my puzzle, like he completed a picture that I didn't know was missing something. Oh my cod, I sound so childish! But I don't care! By Poseidon, I really think I'm falling for him, Chimchim!"

Jimin giggled, listening to Tae throw jumbled words from his beaming lips. He playfully wacked Taehyung with his pillow. Tae pretended to act hurt, clearly failing to cover his smile with a pout.

"Yah, flutter mouth! Start from the beginning. I have no details here!" Jimin yelled, grinning with a curious expression. Taehyung nodded and calmed himself so he could explain. Chimchim leaned in.

"Okay so, when he first found me, I was hiding behind a rock trying to think about how to apologize for yesterday. The rock was about this tall," Tae said, showing the stone's size with his hands and how he was seated against it.

"He had snuck up on top of the rock, and he surprised me by swinging his legs over the side. When I looked up, oh my cod, he was so cute! I get nervous just seeing him, so you can imagine how scary it was for him to suddenly appear above me like that.

"Well, anyways, he sat with his feet hanging off the rock, so of course I grabbed one to see what it was like. Human feet are so weird, Chimchim! They are like long hands, but they can't grab anything, and they have these tiny little fingers that wiggle when you poke at them, and apparently, they are really ticklish when you touch them! When I was looking at Jungkookie's feet, he started laughing and begging me to stop tickling him. It was so funny.

"And then, he lost his balance on the rock from trying to pull his feet away, and he fell off the front of it into my arms!"

Jimin's eyes widened as Taehyung imitated catching the boy. "That's crazy! You caught him above water? But things way a ton above water! You're really strong! How did he not land on your tail?" Jimin gasped. Tae shrugged his shoulders with a smile.

"Luck," Taehyung guessed. "So, I had him in my arms, and he was wrapping his hands around my shoulder and chest... and he started to pull himself in as I leaned towards him, and then our lips touched, and it was like everything around us kept happening while we were frozen in those few moments.

"Oh Jimin, it felt like swimming to the moon and back! I loved it, and I think I love him!" Tae sighed, clasping his hands over his heart and falling back on a kelp pillow.

Jimin's gills hitched at this. It had only been a few days since Tae and Jungkook had started talking, so how was this happening so fast? Fate, Jimin. Their destiny makes the emotions stronger, a Godlike voice boomed inside Jimin's head. His eyes widened with realization: Poseidon is watching us. He's listening.

"Chimchiiiiiiim," complained Taehyung, waving a hand in front of his friend's distant face. Jimin's wide eyes shot up to Taehyung, and his expression softened.

"Sorry, I got lost in thought," Jimin explained. Taehyung playfully flicked Jimin's forehead, and Jimin tackled him with tickles in return. Laughter echoed all throughout the caves, and somewhere in the unexplored depths, Poseidon smiled at the innocent and frisky young boys.

Jungkook sat curled up in his favorite living room chair, enveloped in thoughts of Taehyungie Hyung. He had loved everything about today, including the person he spent it with. It was strange, knowing he was falling for Tae so quickly.

It felt like he was watching himself go through it, as if destiny were a river and he was sitting on a boat floating where the water took him. He didn't fight the current, didn't try to steer the boat. He could sense no waterfalls ahead of him, so there was no reason not to enjoy the ride. However, Jungkook could not see any waterfalls because he could not see. The boy was not aware of what was to come.

And so, there he sat, happily fantasizing about the smooth skin of Taehyung's shirtless frame; the soft, damp ruffle of the boy's hair; the tender, salty smile of Tae's lips pressed against his own. Even though he was swaddled in a warm blanket, the thoughts sent chills through every inch of Jungkook's skin.

For the second night in a row, Jungkook did not fall asleep in his bed. He fell asleep in the comfort of the cushioned armchair, a stomach too full of butterflies to leave room for dinner that night.
