Tris POV
It's been 4 month's.Yesterday I met up with Christina. She's so happy I'm going to have a baby. She insists she will do all the planning for my wedding. Today is my doctors appointment. Christina wants to come but I already told Tobias it was going to just be me & him so I had to turn her down. She was ok with it.
My appointment is at 7:30. It is 7:00 right now. I have to go to our apartment & get Tobias, which will take 10 minutes. Then go to the doctors office which takes 15 minutes & I want to get there early. When I get home Tobias is ready to go, eager to find out the gender of the baby. So am I. Me & Tobias aren't really sure what we want. We will be happy with a boy or girl.
When we arrive at the doctors I have to lay down on a table a little harder than a bed. Tobias stands beside me holding my hand. The doctor says she will check my heart rate & my blood pressure. After that we will find out the gender of our baby. The doctor says my heart rate & blood pressure are at a normal rate. Now it's time. We will find out the gender of our baby. The doctor puts some type of gel on my stomach & a machine which she rubs on my belly. The gel,it's cold. On a screen I see what is supposed to be where the baby grows. My belly is bigger than usual I'm starting to have to wear Tobias's shirts. Then the doctor says something bizare
"Do you know how many babies your having?" Tobias looks at me in shock. I don't know what to say.
"Well I was assuming 1" I say confused. I squeeze Tobias's hand, scared out of my mind. Then the doctor says
"No your having twins. A boy & girl."Tobias looks at me shocked. I look at him the same way.
"I'll leave you two to talk." And then she walks out. It's just me & Tobias. I don't know what to say.
"Are you mad?" I ask him. He wasn't looking at me until I said mad.
"Of course not. Just, shocked. Do you think we can do it? Do u want to do it?" He asks me worried
"I mean we'll have to. I hope we are good parents. But baby, we're having twins! A boy & a girl!"I'm excited but worried.
"I know I love you. Thank you for this. These wonderful children." Then he kisses me.
"Are you happy?" I ask him
"Yes. Absolutely. Are you?"
"Yes." I answer and it's true. I am really happy. On our way home we stop by everyone's house to tell them. Everyone is so happy for us. We then go home & sleep after a long day.
