maybe I should die down
be quiet, put it out.
oh, I digress.
maybe mommy never
told you I was such
a mess.
she said sorry
she spoke because
she was tired of rereading
what she wrote
every goddamn night
to keep her mind from
frying, and no one listened.
so there, shove that
down your damn throat.
he's pissed and maybe
that's because everything
he never missed came
back and tried to
kiss his ass like they cared
about everything he ever
gave to them when
they wanted it.
we're all a little too
loud in here
because everything out
there makes us quiet.
but that's because we're
proud in here
and we're the only
ones that don't fucking
bite it.
into the bait they feed.
because we know better.
we don't need it.
