Sixteen ~ 16

[ Taehyung's POV ]

I walk up the apartments old stairs, sweat dripping down the back of my head. My palms cold and sweaty, I hope his reaction isn't to bad.. I just hope
I finally make my way up to his floor, I make a right to the very last apartment. I gulp down hard, I take a deep breath and knocked on the door. I felt tears escape my eyes... I wait a bit and there was no answer, I knocked again but a bit softer. I waited until I heard a gasp on the other side of the door. The door flys open and I see Jimin, he was crying.. he pulls me into a tight hug. And I return it
"H-hey..." i say in a raspy voice
"Is it really you???" Jimin says more tears fall down his face
We stared at each other which felt like eternity, both crying. We snap out of our trance... Jimin grabs me and drags me inside his home.
"Ha now we're gonna have a talk Kim Taehyung"
"I know" I say weakly
I'm prepared for everything you have to say
"Now TELL ME WHERE THE HELL WHERE YOU!!!"
"WHY DIDN'T YOU ANSWER MY CALLS???? I WAS WORRIED AS FUCK!!!" "I MISSED THE FUCK OUTTA YOU TOO!!!"
"I DIDNT EVEN GO TO SCHOOL, I SPENT DAYS CALLING YOU, TEXTING YOU. I EVEN WENT OUT TO LOOK FOR YOU!!!!"
"AND YOU DIDNT EVEN TEXT ME BACK ONCE, NOT EVEN ONCE HUH!!!"
"And after all this you didn't even have the audacity TO ANSWER ME BACK" Jimin yells in frustration
More tears falling down his face...
"I was so worried about you.. I missed hearing your voice, seeing you"
"Talking to you, I felt so lonely without you"
His voice cracking up
"B-but you're here now, you're really here"
Jimin says sniffing pulling his shirt up to
Wipe his face
"You're finally here..." ❤️
"Please tell me you're okay... and that you won't leave again...?"
"P-please don't...don't leave me again"
"I-I won't"
"I promise you"
"I'm sorry about everything it was a fucking mistake, to ignore you, make you worry. I missed you so much... so much"
"I felt so sick with out you...but I assumed you didn't want to see me... because you were pissed as hell"
"Im so sorry once again...please forgive me"'
"I forgive you Kim Taehyung"
"heh thank y-you" I say weakly
Jimin pulls me into a tight hug, crying in the crook of my neck. Due to being lonely, because I wasn't there for him. Again I'm so sorry for leaving you.

[ Jimin's POV ]

I hugged him...he's really here I thought.
I've missed seeing him, I missed his voice, everything about him.. I- lo-
"So w-what n-ow?" Taehyung asked
"You're going to tell me everything, that happened"
"And how's your body and health, let me see your arms!!"
Taehyung removes his big hoodie revealing scars, some old and new. And a lot of bruises... he had old bandages on.
"H-hey let me replace that.. and clean up your arms"
"Y-yea" Tae said in his raspy deep voice
Jimin starts running towards the bathroom, to grab a small first aid kit.
He returns with a small smile on his face, he carefully opened the little box. Revealing all the basic medical tools, bandaids, rubbing alcohol, tissues, etc.
"Hey you know this is gonna sting...real bad"
"I-I know.."
Jimin gently places Taehyung's right arm in his lap, he grabs the rubbing alcohol. And a tissue, he slowly pours the liquid, onto the tissue.
"Tell me when you're ready"
"Taehyung took a deep breath for a moment..okay I think I'm g-good"
"Okay" Jimin says
He quickly rubs the tissue up and down Taehyung's arm.
"Hisssss ahhh...shit" he whines in pain
It only lasts for a few more moments.
"You good?"
"Y-yah"
Okay next arm..
Taehyung willing gives Jimin his left arm and the process is repeated.
Both arms were covered in alcohol, now Time for the bandages and bandaids. The alcohol dried quick so there was no worry of it making the bandaids soggy and useless.
They were carefully placed on Taehyung's arm.
Jimin smiled at him with much love.
"Thanks Jimin" Taehyung says showing off his box smile which he rarely does
"You should really smile more Tae, it's a adorable" Jimin giggles a bit
"You doing anything today?" Tae asks out of curiosity
"Oh CRAP I WAS SUPPOSED TO MEET UP WITH JUNGKOOK!!!"
"Gulp Jungkook... ohh" Tae says awkwardly
"TAE PLEASE COME WITH ME"
"PLEASE"
Jimin begged and begged
"Please Tae.. please come with me"
"S-sure where are we going?"
"The cafe" Jimin said with excitement
"Okay" Taehyung's says with a weak smile on his face
"D-do you mind if I use the bathroom??"
"Go ahead"
[ Taehyung makes his way to the bathroom ]

[ Taehyung's POV ]

I stared at myself in the mirror... I really don't want to go. I don't want to see Jungkook... not like this. I turned on the cold water and gently placed my hands in the sink. It stings a lot.. I washed my hands, along with my face.
My pulled my hair back exposing my forehead, I cringed at myself "disgusting" I thought but I have nothing to lose right? Like anything will happen
I stared at myself for a few more minutes before exiting the bathroom. Jimin ready to leave, he had his keys ready.
"You good?"
"Yea"
"Great let's go" Jimin said
They both exit the apartment, Taehyung patiently waiting for Jimin to lock the door. Both of them walk down the old stairs, and out into the side walk.
"Heh were late" Jimin says chuckling
"O-oh,.. So uh how's school?" I asked
"I'm not really sure I haven't been going lately.." Jimin says
"Okay..."
the rest of the walk there was silent
As me and Jimin both walk, we get comments along the way
"Hey baby" or "Damn can I take you home"
But Jimin was very overprotective and blocked me, he put me first like always...
We finally make it to the cafe, over in the corner Jungkook was on his phone.
The first thing he did was see Jimin and smiled widely. But his expression changed completely once he saw me behind him.
We both walk over to him.
"Hey" Jungkook says
"Hi" Jimin said
I preferred to say silent and just waved awkwardly. He nodded in response
"So do you guys want anything to eat? I'm willing to pay" Jungkook says
I was very nervous
"Oh no thank you but what about you Tae?" Jimin asked me
"Umm.. well a c-chocolate cake" I say
"Okay" Jungkook says smiling a bit
I felt uncomfortable and I shouldn't really be here, it was supposed to be the two of them.
Jungkook gets up from his seat to go order.
"Hey don't be scared" Jimin says placing his hand on my shoulder
I flinched at the action
"Y-Yea i-know"
"Tae I know you're lying, your trembling and can barely make a sentence" "i don't want to force you to talk but I'd would love it if you did"
"uhh.. I'll try" I say blushing a bit
A few moments later Jungkook returns with a slice of chocolate cake.
My eyes widen at the dessert, it was beautifully decorated. Every detail was noticeable and I almost didn't want to eat it.
"Thank you Jungkook" I say trying my best to smile
"No problem" he said avoiding eye contact with me
I frown slightly but try to ignore it
I carefully remove the plastic wrap around my fork, and slowly cut a piece of the cake.
"So Jimin why didn't you go to school today?" Jungkook asked putting all his attention towards him
"Oh I wasn't feeling so well.."
"Why? Did I miss anything?"
"No not really"
"Are you going to do anything after this?" Jungkook asks so freely
"Well I'm not so sure.. what do you think Tae. Wanna go home after this?"
I look up at the both of them
And nod a "no"
I was to busy with eating this cake, it was delicious and I wasn't going to waste this moment.
Also because Jungkook bought it so it means it's extra special.
I was determined to eat it all
"Well I wanted to go to the mall after this if you wanted to come" Jungkook said smiling
"Sure" Jimin says smiling
"Tae you're coming with us right?"
