Chapter 7

Once the meeting was over with the room full of people began to quiet as they left. I slouched down in the gigantic chair and faced Louis.

"You did so well." He smiled proudly at me.

I sent him a small smile of appreciation and nodded in thanks.

"Now we need to train, get supplies, set up spies, and wait."

Louis nodded at Niall and I huffed under my breath. Louis' brows furrowed in worry. "You alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. That was just slightly nerve racking."

He took ahold of my hand and interlaced our fingers together. "I am so proud of you. You did extremely good for your first big meeting."

A smile graced my lips in satisfaction and I lightly squeezed his hand. His face turned serious once again and he turned to look to Liam. "Can you get our strongest survivors and start training?"

Liam nodded and Dani grabbed his hand. "You will need women fighters too."

Liam shook his head. "No." He stated firmly leaving no room for discussion or so he hoped.

"I will fight. I am not just going to sit on the sidelines and watch all of you risk your lives!"

Louis squeezed my hand knowing that I was agreeing with her without opening my mouth.

"I don't want you to get hurt." Liam furrowed his brow and lowered his head.

"You think I want you to get hurt."

Liam shook his head. "It's my job. It's different."

Dani lightly smiled and lifted Liam's chin. "It's not."

I turned away from the touching moment as they kissed and looked to Louis.

"You know I'm not allowing you to fight so don't even bother opening that pretty little mouth."

I let out a low warning growl.

"No."

I took a deep breath and kept my mouth closed trying to calm down my wolf. Louis turned to Niall still keeping a tight hold of my hand. "Can you locate all of the weapons and place them in a room?"

Niall nodded. We all stood and each had ahold of our mates hands.

During the meeting Louis informed everyone that if they had a mate to keep them at their side at all times. Personally I don't mind being next to Louis all of the time.

"What are we going to do, babe?" I hooked my arm into his as we walked out of the room.

He smiled sweetly down at me and kissed the top of my head. "We are going to set up spies to find out the location of the rogues."

I nodded as we continued our journey to the large foyer in the middle of the castle. There were four men standing in a line and I knew Louis had mind linked them.

"Gentlemen, follow me."

They stood at attention as soon as Louis spoke and nodded. They followed us down one of the many hallways until we reached his office in the temporary castle.

"Now, I suspect that they were coming from the south area of our kingdom. I need each of you to go in each direction and search the entire area until we find their location. Be secretive and be careful."

They nodded in understanding and Louis dismissed them. I looked to Louis and giggled as he brought me down onto his lap and nuzzled his face into the side of my neck.

"Now all we have to do is wait."

Hey guys!!!

I'm so sorry I haven't updated!

I started back to work about a week ago and it has been crazy gettin back into schedule and everything so please forgive me!!!

They started paying me though which I'm like super happy about and I just got my first paycheck and found out its $8 an hr!!!!!!

Gettin paid for something that I love to do is a blessing!!!

Oh and if u guys didn't know I work at a veterinarian clinic:) they just recently hired me as a vet assistant(vet tech) and I plan to go to college to become a vet so it's been a great experience!

Alright let's see oh! I'm writing a new fanfic if y'all wanna check it out! it will be posted after everything is updated!!!! it's called Talking to the Evergreens and it's a Liam fanfic! It's also werewolf so y'all should enjoy;)
