Chapter 14

I laid down in the field of wild flowers looking up at the glass ceiling. I watched as clouds glided by overhead.

I wish I was a cloud sometimes. They are so free and light as a feather. They travel everywhere and see everything.

My daydreaming was interrupted when Anthony blocked the sunlight from in front of me causing a shadow to cast over my body.

I frowned as I looked up at him. "May I help you?"

His grey eyes stared at me with pride. "Alpha sent us to watch you again. Just wanted to give you a heads up."

I took a deep breath and smiled lightly at him before nodding in understanding. "Thank you."

He nodded curtly with a small smile and stepped off to the side. I looked over towards them to see them involved in a conversation. I rolled my eyes at them and stood up from my comfortable spot in the flowers.

I brushed off some pedals that had fallen from the flowers I picked. My eyes glided over the area in front of me before landing on the fountain.

Louis came crashing down into the dirt, sliding into the water fountain causing it to crack.

Dirt flew up with the force causing some dirt to cover my clothes and skin.

"No!" My hand flew up to cover my mouth that was opened in shock.

I shook the memories from my head as tears began to well in my eyes.

I walked towards the fountain, laying the bouquet of flowers I picked on the side of it. I took a step back and stared at the flowers resting on the grey stone.

I guess it kind of resembled me moving on from the past one step at a time. All because of that day, I became a werewolf.

Although I could tell you a whole bunch of stuff bad about it, I won't. Instead I'm going to focus on the good.

It has brought Louis and I closer together with a greater mate bond.

I have the power to heal people.

I have some wicked awesome fur when I'm in my wolf form.

I smirked and laughed lightly as my thoughts went on. I turned away from the flowers and looked toward the large, wooden door.

My eyes widened as a thought crossed my mind. I ran right in between Anthony and Timothy until I reached the door. My hand fell to the handle and I slowly turned it.

I took a step back, taking deep breaths. I automatically shifted into my wolf form and howled up at the sky.

He had locked me in here because the war had begun.
