"Nice to meet you. I'm Taylor" the boy stuck his hand out. "I'm Bailee" I shook his hand. "Have we met before?" I asked. He thought for a minute and finally answered. "Yes. But Id rather restart with the whole thing" he smiled. "Okay " I nodded. I watched as he concentrated on the road. "It's not nice to stare" he chuckled. I looked away in embarrassment. "You don't have o be embarrassed." He smiled. "So how old are you?' I asked him. "18, just like you" he answered. How does this kid know everything about me? "What's you favorite memory of us?" I asked him trying I remember some things. He thought for a minute and then answered. "When we first met and you always called me tyler" he laughed. "I really wish I could remember all of that" I frowned. "Don't worry. We can make new memories" he reassured me. "So have you ever been In love?" I asked. "Well there was this girl. She had the prettiest eyes. You could get lost in them. She had perfect hair, a perfect body but she wouldn't believe it. She harmed herself trying to get out of the thing she called life. She deserved better. I helped her through it all. I loved her but she didn't love me. We got In a fight and I lost her." He said. "Oh. I'm sorry. She seems like a really nice girl" I smiled. "Yeah. She was the best." He smiled. "What's her name?" I can't tell you that right now." He said. "Oh. Okay" I shrugged. "I'm sorry I don't remember you. I really wish I did" I frowned. "Trust me it's fine. Sometimes it's better to start over" he said. "I guess so" I sighed. We pulled up to the apartments. "We have to stay here for a while until we find a house" he said helping me out. "There's four of us here. We are all sharing a apartment. Is that fine?" He asked. "Yeah of course" I walked through the doors. The lobby was decorated nicely and it smelled like roses. "Bailee" he called. I turned around noticed I missed the elevator. "Sorry" I laughed as we stepped into the elevator. I have a bad fear of elevators but I didn't say anything. I stood as still as I can trying not to have another panic attack. My breathing started to get heavy as the elevator jolted. "You okay?" He asked. "Y-yeah" I lied. "Bailee. You're lying" he laid a hand on my shoulder. "It's just I'm afraid of elevators" I gulped. He wrapped his arms around me. "It's fine. I'm with you." He said into my hair. I feel like I know this boy but in reality we just met.
The elevator stopped and we walked out. I tried se best as I could to remember him but nothing came. "D*mn it" I whispered. "What's wrong?" He must've heard me. "I want to remember people. I want my life back" I frowned. "It'll come trust me" he said as he opened the door to what I assumed was our apartment. We walked in and I looked around. It was really nice inside. The walls were brick and the whole back wall was glass. It overlooked the city which was breathtaking. A boy walked over to me and held his hand out. "Hi. I'm nash" he smiled. He had the bluest eyes I've ever seen. His brown hair was swooped back, it had blonde highlights which was pretty cute. He was tall so I only came up to his chest. Just like I do on Taylor. I did know one boy though. Cam. My brother. I ran to him and hugged him. He hugged me back. After we exchanged our hellos I walked to the couch where Taylor was. I sat down and picked up a notebook that was in the table. It had my name on it. "Who's is this?" I asked Taylor. "Yours" he said. "Oh" I opened it and read the note I wrote.
~So there's this boy. I met him about 3 weeks ago. He's pretty cool. He helped me through a lot already. I still am not better though. I can pretend right? Every time I look in the mirror I see a girl staring back at me. A girl I don't want to be.
~ so today we kissed for the first time. I felt something I never have before. It wasn't exactly my first kiss but it was my first true kiss. Taylor's really sweet. I think he's an amazing person. Maybe I found a true friend.
~ Taylor and I are a lot closer now. I think I may like him. I've never loved someone though. I don't know what it feels like. I may be in love.?
I closed the book and looked at Taylor. "This is about you?" I questioned. "Yeah" he nodded. "Were we something?" I asked. "No. Well kinda. " he answered. "Do you always wear bandanas?" I asked. "Yep" he said popping the 'p'. "I'm going to go to bed now" I stood up. "Goodnight" he smiled. "Night" I walked to my room. "Oh. Bailee I forgot. We are sharing a bed" he said. "Okay" I said. "I'm going to bed to so" he said looking around. "I'll sleep on the floor" he said. "No. I don't mind" I said. "You sure?" He asked. "I'm positive Taylor" I smiled. He climbed into bed next to me. I turned onto my side and closed my eyes. "Night" he said before I fell asleep.
I woke up and the bed was empty. I swung my feet over the bed and stood up. I walked to the kitchen and grabbed a coke from the refrigerator. I sat down at the table and opened my coke. Soon Taylor joined me at the table. "Hey" I said as he sat down. "Hey" he said back. "How'd you sleep?" He asked. "Good" I said. He nodded. "I'm going to take a shower now" I said standing up. I walked to the shower and sat my clean clothes on the counter and started the shower. I stripped and stepped into the shower. I washed and then tried as best as I could to remember stuff. With no luck I turned the shower off and got dressed. I walked to my to my room and slid down against the wall. I tried to hold the tears in but I failed. I put my head in my hands and cried.
I felt arms wrap around me. "Shhh. It's okay" a voice said. I recognized it as Taylor's. I sniffled and wiped my eyes. "I'm sorry" I said. "Don't apologize. I understand" he smiled. "They always day memories last forever but mine didn't." I sighed. "We can make new ones that are even better" he said. I got all choked up so I just nodded.

I got in bed and closed my eyes. Why does my life have to be like this?
