Today's the dance. I'm nervous as h*ll. I really want to back out but, I can't do that to taylor.
I walked to the bedroom and took my dress off the hanger. We were going to ear before the dance so we had to leave in an hour. I slipped it on and look in the mirror. My makeup was already done from this morning so I had to do my hair and that's all. I curled it tightly and pinned one side back with a decorative clip. It looked pretty good so I out my shoes on and walked out. "You look amazing" nash said as I walked into the kitchen. "Thanks" I smiled. "Taylor said he will be ready in a minute" cam said as he walked in. He stopped and looked at me. "Bailee. You looked gorgeous" he hugged me. I heard footsteps walk in. I looked up and Taylor was standing there. He had on a purple button up shirt to match my dress with khakis and black shoes. Of course he had on a purple bandana but he looked very attractive. He took my hand and led me outside. "You look gorgeous" he kissed my cheek. "Thanks" I smiled. We got into the car and pulled out of the driveway.
We pulled up to this fancy Italian restaurant. "I love Italian" I said as he parked the car. "I know" he smiled. We walked to the door and a man greeted us. "Caniff" Taylor said. The man nodded and told us to follow him. He led us to a table for two. It was beside a beautiful fountain with flowers lining it. It was a beautiful place. Once we took our seats a man greeted us again and took our orders. "Taylor. You didn't have to do this" I said as the waiter walked off. "Yes I did" he smiled. "Thank you" I said. "Anytime" he winked. "I have to ask you a question" he mumbled. "Okay" I said. "So there's this girl. I really like her but I don't know if she likes me. She means a lot to me. We've been through a lot. She's the only thing that's ever in my mind." He looked up. I felt a little hurt by his words. He really loves this girl and sadly it's not me. "Just tell her all the little things you like about her, all the stuff that makes you fall for her" i smiled. He was fixing to say something but our food came. He glanced at me a few times while we ate but except that it was silent. A good silence.
He paid for our food and then we walked back to his car. "I like your hair" he said as we got into the car. "Thanks" I replied. "So about that girl" he said looking out the window. "Yeah?" I asked. "She has really pretty hair." He said as he pulled into a parking lot. "She also looks really good in purple" he got out of the car. "Oh" I nodded. Then it hit me. He was talking about me.
I followed him into the building. There were tons of people dancing, sitting, or just standing around talking. Taylor grabbed my hand and led me through the crowd. "I'll go get some drinks" he pulled a chair out for me. I took a seat and looked around. Taylor came back with our drinks. "You eyes are beautiful" he looked at me. "Thank you Taylor" I smiled. "Let's go dance" he grabbed my hand. "I don't know how to dance Taylor" I frowned. "I can teach you" he led me to the dance floor. He out my arms around his neck and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Now just follow me" he swayed back and forth. I never thought Taylor would be they guy to slow dance with me.
We danced for a while and then decided to leave early. We walked out into the cold, dark air. He stopped on the side walk and looked at me. "What's wrong" I asked him. He looked nervous and scared. Like something had been on his mind and he was fixing to tell me. Whether or not it's a good thing or a bad thing I don't know. Honestly I'm scared for what he has to say. Maybe the girl ain't me. Maybe he's fixing to tell me more about the girl that he's in love with. "Bailee____________" he asked nervously.
