so, hi guys, long time and i'm here with an announcement (obviously, sorry rip). i've come to decide that i'm going to discontinue falling. while i love this book and the outsiders, i don't have the passion to continue it. (but, theodosia and the gang already have a new, completely original book in my drafts.) so, here's what i had in mind for falling:

- in the next few chapters, you were going to meet some really important people in theodosia's life such as her brother thomas, his wife sarah, and their kids. then, following that, there'd be a surprise visit from theodosia's old friends virginia, leigh-anne, and stephanie for a few chapters when they end up in tulsa.

- then, you'd learn how theodosia and markus ended up together (basically, they met when they were freshmen and markus came off as someone he wasn't !!!!)

- one chapter that i had had planned for a long time was the gang + theodosia and her old friends getting stuck at the curtis house during a thunder storm that included lots of banter and one really cute scene between theodosia and johnny that i sadly don't remember the specifics of because i didn't think to write it down in my outline :,)

- another scene i had thought of was alexander's spontaneous return to theodosia's life, which leads to plenty of rocky situations for the siblings (particularly alexander initially disapproving of johnny).

- close to the end of the book, you'd meet characters like vienna meyers and claudya black, who respectively were supposed to be love interests for steve and dallas. the briefly mentioned aubrey faye would become major as ponyboy's love interest, and you'd see petunia simpson and sodapop's relationship.

after that, there was just fillers until the epilogue that starts with theodosia dying when she and johnny are much, much older. it would detail their life together (children (who i named: ray marie, anastasia jo, aaron james, & joel curtis), wedding, etc (such as: james & lilli's (who do end up together) death thus fostering lillian (their daugher) after they pass on in their mid thirties, john lennon's death, which would've also been theodosia's 30th birthday.)) and what ended up happening to the gang. one significant thing i wanna mention (that's kinda morbid?) was that the line "we loved with a love that was more than love" was going to be the last line of the book and was supposed to be put on theodosia and johnny's grave.

basically, you guys know how long this book has been up, and i just lost my passion for this particular version of it. (like i said before, theodosia has a completely original book in my drafts). so thank you guys for reading this book and loving my ocs as much as i do.

also, huge shoutout to jadesparka for being wonderful and whose comments always gave me inspiration to write more. love you 💕
