shu and rina

chapter 3

from rina's point of view

i woke up the next morning and when i got up i felt a bit of pain in my midriff and shoulder but i couldn't let shu see it no matter how bad the pain got. then a bit later after i got ready and ate breakfast shu knocked on my door. as i got to the door i felt pain but i just took a deep breath and opened the door and grabbed my backpack and put it on my not hurt shoulder. i held shu's hand and when we sat down i felt pain in my stomach but it wasnt that intense but i still felt it luckily shu was talking to one of his friends on the bus so i was good after a few minutes we got to school and got off the bus and i made a B-line for my locker while shu went to his

time skip to lunch 

i went to my usual spot and as i sat down i felt that sharp pain in my stomach again but shu wasn't around to hear me wince in pain then i got on my tablet and went on my wattpad and read my favorite story then i heard shu come up behind me 

shu: hey beautiful 

me: hey handsome how were your classes this morning 

shu: sad without you 

then shu grabbed my shoulders and went in for a kiss then i felt pain in my shoulder and winced a bit i just hope shu didn't notice it 

shu: hey you alright? 

me: yea im fine i should get to class i'll meet you there 

after that i went to my locker and put a pain patch on my shoulder i remembered i had a few from a while back and just before shu knocked on my door i put one on and put a few in my backpack then i went to class and saw shu sitting there waiting for me and then the bell rang for class to start.

shu: hey rina glad you're here we all got assigned partners and we got paired together isn't that great 

me: yea whats the project

shu: make and present a powerpoint on a country we can choose a country 

me: p-present in front of the whole class 

shu: rina you okay?

me: y-yea i gotta go to the bathroom 

after that i got my stuff and asked the teacher if i could go to the bathroom and she said yes and i bolted out of the classroom and went to the bathroom. why did it have to be a presentation that i had to do in front of the whole class i felt my eyes start to sting a bit and i wiped my eyes and pulled myself together and got ready for my next class with shu then i felt a massive wave of pain and screamed out in pain for a moment then everything went black. a few hours later i woke up in a hospital bed with a bandage on my shoulder and i saw shu sitting there then i felt at piece with him next to me and then i fell asleep i was so tired from today. a few hours later i fully woke up hearing shu's voice saying my name 

shu: rina. rina, come on rina wake up please i dont want to loose you please wake up 

after that i opened my eyes shu sighed in relief and hugged me i felt a bit of pain

me: shu shoulder remember how did you know about me fainting in the girls bathroom

shu: the office called me and told me to come to the nurses office and ride with you here why didn't you tell me you were in pain?

me: i didn't start feeling the intense pain until i got to the bathroom you're probably wondering why i was acting all strange when you said presentation

shu: rina its okay im just glad you're alright now they had to do surgery on your shoulder and repair a tendon and relaxed the strained muscles  you have to be in a sling for at least 5 months and some other people are here

me: who is it shu? 

just as i finished asking the bey club and the traitor valt came bursting through the door i just looked at them in shock then they came really close to my face and touched my hurt shoulder and i felt pain in my injured shoulder

me: guys my shoulder go easy on me alright i just got out of surgery and it hurts alot right now okay so until further notice you cant touch that shoulder and i decided to come back to the club and valt you get one last chance do what you did again and im out permanently got it 

bey club: yay rina's back we have to celebrate with some bey bread from my  mom's bakery and shu can make a cake welcoming rina back 

me: guys there's no need for that 

honcho: too late rina this party is happening weather you want it or not 

me: guess i cant get out of this one right shu, shu? 

i looked over to where i saw shu sitting and he was gone.

me: he left without saying bye to me or everyone else shu how could you 

valt: hey rina its okay he probably went to go make the cake i can tell he really cares for you 

me: yea he does he's been by my side since i moved here and was with me through the bullying and even when my parents died he went with me to the funeral and we are dating. he defended me through all the bad times i love him and he loves me but he left without saying bye and i don't know if i can leave or not 

honcho: we spoke to your doctor and he said you can leave now if you want

me: thanks honcho let me change and we can head over to the bey club 

bey club: alright meet us at the entrance and we can get going 

after i got my street clothes on i met the guys at the hospital entrance they even carried my stuff for me all except for my bey that i carried with me on my person at all times. after a bit we met valt's mom at the school roof but shu was no where to be found he didn't even come to my own welcome back party. a few hours later and still no shu so i just left and he didn't even call to let me know if he was gonna come after that i got back to my apartment and started crying and then i made a decision im going to america for a year it was gonna be hard to tell the guys and even shu. but i need to be on my own for a while i even called and had my medical records shipped over to a town in america where i would be going and then i started packing and left a note for shu under his door telling him to meet me and have the rest of the club there for the announcement i was gonna make to them
