shu and rina

chapter 25

from shu's point of view

today was the day we were catching our flight to america rina couldn't compete due to emotional issues but i will be fighting on her behalf and i know her being here will make her upset but she still wanted to come and support me and the guys and there was a red carpet event for all the bladders and families supporting us. unfortunately rina's parents couldn't come and neither of my parents either but i had rina and the guys and they are like family to us i mean they were in our wedding so they are immediately family to us and i had rina with me so i have enough family here and then we had lots of fun and danced all night

rina: shu this feels like a redo of our wedding it just feels like it

she had tears in her eyes  and i wiped them away and kissed her  and she stopped crying 

me: rina i know this is hard for you but you have to stay strong for us okay im right here 

and after that she was feeling happy and we got our pictures taken and headed inside for the opening ceremony and found our room and we ordered dinner and watched movies all night and got ready for tomorrow.

the next morning i woke up and rina was still asleep today was the first match for me valt and honcho and i got ready and woke up rina and she got ready then we went to the cafeteria and got food then i left rina with cris and they stayed up in the stands i gave rina a kiss before i went to the waiting room with valt and honcho and we got a bit of a surprise that wakiya showed up and we saw lui, free,xander, renwu, and a bunch of other powerful bladders. but when i saw lui i had to warn cris and rina what if he tried something so i texted cris and told her to keep rina happy then it was lui's turn to go out and battle first

from rina's point of view

the tournament was starting and the first match up made it hard for me to breathe because i found out who all was competing first and i had to try and keep it together but i couldnt and started crying and lui saw me 

lui: rina black i know you're here get down here and face me right now 

i couldn't it was already bad enough i was here in america but lui added made me fear this place even more 

cris: lui rina cant face you at all 

me: cris its okay i can face him im not gonna let my fear of you control me for life 

i headed down to the stadium with my bey to accept lui's challenge

 and got my bey ready and we battled and lui broke my bey again and this time the bey's seal layer cracked and burst into pieces and a piece came flying right at me and pierced me in my eye i screamed in pain and cupped my eye and got all the pieces and walked out and i heard lui laughing and when i got into the hall i saw shu standing there and he came over to me and hugged me

shu: rina are you alright let me see how bad it is can you remove your hand

i removed my hand from my eye but i felt dizzy and collapsed i was waiting to feel the floor but i didn't and i blacked out

from shu's point of view

rina got hurt she accepted lui's challenge and tried to beat her fear which i was proud of her but she got injured and i went to her after seeing her run out of the arena and i found her holding on to the wall and asked her to remove her hand from her eye and as soon as she did she collapsed and i caught her and called the medical team to take her then i went back to the waiting room and i called cris and told her to go to rina and keep me updated and i talked to the guys then it was my turn to battle and i won but i wasn't thinking about my win all i could think about was rina and i looked at my phone and cris texted me 

cris: rina is alright she is in recovery 

i ran right to the medical room to see her and when i got there she was unconscious and bandaged up then they said they would transfer her to the local hospital and i went with her and waited for her to wake up and a few hours later she opened her eyes and i held her hand and she smiled at me

rina: where am i the last thing i remember was blacking out 

me: rina you're at the hospital you had an accident with lui but you're gonna be alright how do you feel 

rina: i feel tired and sleepy 

me: alright close your eyes and i will be right here 

as soon as i said that she drifted off to sleep then i went to talk to cris

me: cris is rina still on the team 

cris: yes she is but until she gets healed she will have to sit on the side lines 

me: thank you cris i know rina will love to hear this when she wakes up i better head back to her 

i went back in rina's room and sat by her side she was still asleep i was just releaved  she was alright she might have a scar but the doctor said she would be fine there was no nerve damage or anything but she might have pain in her eye every now and then but she should be alright then a few minutes later rina woke up and i hugged her and helped her out of bed and to the door so we could leave and i helped her to the cab and we headed back to BC sol and i helped her back to the room and when we got there we saw everyone there and they hugged her

rina: ugh guys im not really in the mood for hugs right now i just want to lay down for a bit and rest so can all of you just go please

after that me and everyone left to give rina some privacy 

from rina's point of view

i got injured by lui again and i came home from the hospital and shu helped me to my room and i saw the whole team hugged me but i was exhausted from the day i had i just wanted to lay down for a while so i asked everyone to leave so i could and before i knew it i fell asleep and i was gently shaken awake by shu and i opened my one good eye for the time being to see he brought me some food because i didn't feel like getting up right now ive been through so much and shu made me feel better by doing this for me and i hugged him to thank him for doing this and he hugged me back and i ate dinner with shu then he took the trays back to the kitchen then came back to the room

shu: hey rina want to go watch me and the guys train 

me: will you help me get there shu?

shu: yes rina 

i went and watched the guys and shu train i sat up where the audience sits and i brought my pain meds and a bottle of water with me and watched them train then went back to the room with shu for the night and as soon as my head hit the pillow i was out cold
