shu and rina

chapter 9

from shu's point of view 

i woke up with rina still asleep and i kissed her to wake her up when she opened her eyes she smiled warmly 

rina: hey shu mind if i call our parents and tell them about yesterday 

me: yea sure then come down to breakfast tell them i said hi 

she called her parents and came downstairs happy and smiling as she sat down to eat. after we finished eating we went to train our next battles were tomorrow and we spent a few hours training then i took her to lunch and we went to a local park for a little while and just spent the time together because shortly after we get home we have to start planning our wedding. after a few hours at the park we went back to our host family for dinner and to watch a movie. after the movie i noticed rina fell asleep on my shoulder and i felt so happy to have her here with me and i know she was happy to have me with her. i took her into our room and laid her down and got into bed with her she immediately wrapped her arms around me and i did the same with her

from rina's point of view:

i woke up to shu kissing me i reminded him we had to get going to the arena for our matches and we got ready, ate breakfast, and headed off to the arena and our separate waiting rooms i give shu a kiss for good luck and he did the same for me i love him so much. i got my eyes glued to the screen of the monitor in my waiting room i saw shu was up first and had tears in my eyes from loving him so much but i couldn't cry i had to win my next match for him and for us to meet in the final. he won in a burst finish and i was relieved and felt more confident because shu was waiting for me after today we had the semi finals the day after tomorrow we had to win our matches. after a few minutes it was my turn and i won of course. then i noticed my opponent for the semi finals it was a girl who looked just like lui. i froze and everything went black 

i woke up a few hours later in mine and shu's room with shu asleep next to me with my host family with the sensation of a cold wash cloth on my forehead. i took it off and saw shu was asleep next to me on the floor but i didn't sit up i still felt the room spinning and was dizzy i couldn't keep my eyes open for long as i fell asleep. for the night i wasn't even hungry my nerves were getting the best of me. normally i would be hungry as crazy but my next opponent who looked strangely like lui but was a girl i recognized the last name it was lui's last name and i realized he had a sister who was undefeated so far in the tournament but i was gonna be  defeated so easily i had to win in order to face shu in the final we had made a pact and i would be heartbroken and lost if i couldn't face my fiance in the finals
