shu and rina

chapter 20

from rina's point of view

today was the court date with that evil man and i was kinda scared but i know i have to do this i felt tears stinging my eyes and shu walked in

shu: hey rina its alright we're gonna send that man to jail once and for all 

shu hugged me and i felt a whole lot better about this then me and the rest of the team headed to the court house and i held shu's hand 

time skip to the start of the trial

i sat in the witness box and gave my statement and testified then they let me go over to shu but i was in tears remembering what had happened and then ashtem gave his testimony then the judge went into his chambers and came back like a half hour later 

judge: i have made my decision and i rule in favor of rina black ashtem you will be going to prison for the rest of you're life with no chance of parole what you did to this young lady is far beyond human decency  bailiff take him away

i cried even harder and i couldn't breathe right then everything went black. after a while i woke up in my dorm room with shu next to me

me: what happened? am i in the dorms 

shu: yes rina everything is alright 

i got out of bed then me and shu went to the practice area then back to the kitchen and everyone looked at me and stared at me and shu while we went to go and get our food which i thought was a little weird

me: alright just stop staring at me like earlier wasn't hard enough 

i just ran out of the room crying 

shu: rina wait please. why did you all have to stare at her like that 

from shu's point of view

rina ran out of the room and i scolded the rest of the team for doing that and then i went to look for her and told cris when i couldnt find her and she helped me look for rina. i noticed a glimpse of something that looked like her hair and i went up to it but it wasn't her so i kept looking for her all over the grounds and couldn't find her so we went into town to try and find her. i found her but she was on the ground knocked out and all covered in scratches, cuts, and bruises and in an alley i called cris over and she called an ambulace for rina and as we waited i saw a tear run down her cheek and held her hand until the ambulance got to where we were and the ambulance gathered a large crowd and even valt showed up with honcho and we all headed to the hospital with rina so the doctors there could look her over then after what seemed like hours the doctor came out and we went over to him

doctor: rina will be just fine she just needs to take it easy for a bit she can continue to practice bust she cant push herself too hard or else she will collapse she can go home right now if she wants to 

me: alright thank you

cris: shu you go to rina while i sign her release papers

rina came out and i went to her and hugged her and she hugged me back and she looked at me then we walked back to BC sol 

rina: shu how long was i in that chamber thing i want to know how much the world has changed since i was in that chamber

me: at least 2 years i never lost hope that you would come back we have to celebrate your last 2 birthdays that's why i got you this 

i handed her a box with a diamond necklace and she opened it and she was shocked and hugged me and i gave her another box with a tennis bracelet 

me: those gifts are your birthday and our 2 year anniversary presents i love you rina i never gave up hope that you would come back to us 

rina: i love you too shu ive never stopped loving you either im sorry about pulling the divorce thing on you it wasn't right of me and im sorry 

she had tears in her eyes and she walked over to a bridge railing and grabbed a hold of the railing 

me: rina its alright it wasn't you talking it was that monster's fault it was like you were possessed

rina: yea i kinda was he gave me a bracelet as a welcoming gift to the team and when i put it on i felt like i wasn't myself i could hear myself talking but i hated what i was saying i couldn't stop myself from saying those hurtful things im sorry

me: don't worry about it its alright im just happy to have my beautiful girl back its all i wanted the 2 years you were gone 

i hugged rina and it started to rain really hard and took rina under a pavilion and i looked at rina and she was shivering and i went over to her and hugged her to give her some of my body heat and she fell asleep and i took her back to the dorms and put her in bed for the night and then crawled in with her and she wrapped her arms around me and i did the same thing for her it was so good having the rina i know and love back and that her evil clone was gone and i fell asleep shortly after her then valt came in and screamed 

valt: fire!!!! everyone get out now before the fire spreads to here 

we all woke up and ran outside and saw the whole thing and i saw rina was in tears because our room was up in flames and she just went into my chest and she cried so hard and i hugged her then after the fire was put out by the fire department ans we all went inside to check out the damage and rina went to our room and she was in shock at how much damage was done to our room

rina: all our stuff is gone i cant believe it its like somebody wants to make us miserable what did i ever do to them 

rina was screaming and i went over to her and hugged her 

and she cried in my arms i feel bad that she is getting so upset 

rina: cris did they find out who did this to us 

cris: they havent done their investigation yet they will start tomorrow until then we have spare blankets, pillows, and cots for us to sleep on in the team storage 

rina: shu cris i think i should start seeing the team therapist again u know start up my therapy again  i feel like i need this after everyting that's happened right now

Me: alright rina we can go first thing in the morning we should get going to get our cots

Me and rina went to get our cots blankets and we set them up and i went to bed but in the middle of the night i saw rina was gone so i went to go find her and i did she was standing on a balcony and i went over to her

me: cant sleep?

rina: yea im just feeling a little homesick that's all i'll be fine 

me: its gonna be alright cris told me they have insurance and they will pay for all the damage caused by the fire and we're gonna go out tomorrow and get some new clothes and pajamas  so don't worry plus we can call our parents tomorrow and have a video chat before we go okay  

rina: alright shu but my bey was in that fire and its now ashes

me: alright before we go shopping tomorrow we'll get u a new bey

after i said that we went back to the rest of the group and she got into bed and i tucked her in and she fell asleep and i fell back to sleep after her
