Family Of Blue Pt.2

Chapter 1

Third POV — 1 Month Later —
It has been very difficult for the Paladins in the last month. Allura had take over flying Black, much to the Lions disdain. They still hadn't found a new Paladin for Blue, which meant that fighting the Galra became very difficult.

All of the team tried as hard as they could to remain positive but it was very hard when you had a friend die and the other in a critical condition.

They had to get extra support from the planets that they had alliances with. Princess Tatani had visited Lance every now and then, she felt so horrible for not being there for him like he was for her.

She had kept to her word and stayed alive, she got help and started helping those in her situation. She found something to live for, even if it was small, it was something and she had Lance to thank.

Coran had completed a scan on Shiro's body and found out that he was being controlled by the Galra and it caused him to do all of those things.

They found out the truth, however they found out too late.

Keith would sit by the pod day and night, his Galra form had not diminished, in fact it had spread further so he was now a full Galra in appearance.

Caspian had come out of the pod a week after he was put in, since his injuries were minimal it didn't take long for them to heal.

The two of them would stay at the base of Lance's pod. They would play little games and cuddle. Keith was now the one that fed Caspian, with a bottle of course.

The pod had almost completely healed Lance and that was a massive relief. All of his bones where no longer broken and his brain damage was nonexistent. It was amazing what alien technology could do.

Now it was only a matter of waiting for him to come out.

"-and then he awoke from his coma to save his prince from the bad man." Keith said as his story came to a heroic end.

Caspian giggled and clapped his hands, this was his favourite story and he could listen to it all day. "Again!"

Keith looked at his adoptive child and flashed a warm smile, he picked up the boy and cradled him in his arms.

He turned to the pod and placed a hand on the glass, Caspian did the same as his papa and tilted his head slightly to the side. "Mama..."

"They'll be out soon sweetie, have patience." The little Galra looked a Keith with a sad face and sunk into his arms. "Someone tired?~"

Caspian shook his head in an attempt to show that he wasn't sleepy but it was futile as his eyes started to close.

Keith was about to walk over to the other side of the room when the sound of a pod open drew his attention. His Galra ears had picked up the quiet sound and could tell that it was Lance's pod.

He turned back around in time for Lance's healed body to fall against him. Caspian jumped at the sudden movement and looked to see his mama leaning on his papa.

The Red Paladin gently sank to the ground making sure that neither Lance or Caspian fell out of his arms.

When he sat on the ground Lance's blue eyes started to open. Little Caspian wriggled out of Keith's arms and made his way into Lance's.

"Mmmm..." Lance groaned with a croaky unused voice. He shuffled and moved his eyes to his baby.

A small smile cracked his lips and he turned his dazed attention to his Galra boyfriend. "...H-Hey...." he slurred out.

Keith placed his hand on the side of Lance's purple face as tears began to drip down both of their faces. His leaned closer and their lips gently collided in a soft passionate dance of pure love.

Both of their cheeks were dusted with a light blush and when they separated Lance snuggled into Keith's chest, taking in the warm secure touch of his boyfriend.
