The end of us

Finally.

It was morning and there was a noise downstairs. It doesn't matter I'll look at it when I'm fully awake.

I turned around and tried to sleep some more because I'm exhausted! My arm takes a lot of energy because of the healing and my body feels heavy and tired and I want to sleep.

The noise kept getting harder and harder and someone was walking up the stairs. I tiredly sat up and grabbed the gun in my nightstand and pointed it at the door. Just in case it was an unwanted intruder.

I could just shoot them and then sleep and when I wake up I'll deal with it.

The door opens slowly and I saw a head poke in. I tried keeping my eyes open I swear! But somehow it still became dark.

I could hear the door either open or close but it was far away. I heard my name or not I don't know.

I slowly opened my eyes again and looked around. Curtains were closed but you could see the sun light through it.

Guess I slept for quite a while then!
Sitting up I heard some noise downstairs, again. Being actually awake now I decided to investigate.

I slipped out of my comfortable bed and grabbed my gun. Which was in my nightstand again. Did I actually grab it or was that a dream?

I opened the door slowly and looked around. No one was at the top floor good. I walked towards the stairs and walked down with my back against the wall.

The noises where louder and I could locate them. It came from the living room.

I was in the hallway now and walked towards the door of the living room.
I threw it open so the intruders would be to surprised to react in time.

I looked inside and saw..

"Keagan?"

Keagan and another person stared at me in surprise. Guess no intruders than!

"Your back! How was your journey?"

I asked exited while putting away my gun.

"Uh g-good. What's up with the gun man you scared me shitless!"

"I didn't know that it was you I thought someone broke in or something?"

I came out as a question more than a statement. O well.

"Yeah I noticed. The journey was shorter that I expected"

"That's good I'm glad your back!"

I looked at the other person in the room. On Keagans left side I saw a... boy? I thought he had a sister? Who's the boy? Maybe his sister was upstairs and he found the boy during his journey.

No that's impossible I checked upstairs and no one was there. So where is his sister? Toilet? O shit no that thing doesn't work anymore. Maybe kitchen?

"So... who's the boy? Did you find him during your journey? Where's your sister? Is she in the kitchen? I hope she is 'cause she wasn't upstairs, didn't she her outside either so that only leaves the toilet. But it doesn't work anymore. She's not on the toilet is she? There'd be a big ass problem if she was."

That where a lot of questions. Meh I'm sure he'll understand.

"Uhm right so yeah my sister... there's something I didn't tell you"

He didn't tell me something. That's ok and strange and I have so many questions right now.

"So this is my sister actually.. uhm she's transgender. You know? Born in the wrong body and all? Are... are you ok with that? Please be."

So ok that's a lot of information to take in. His sister was a brother now a sister so transgender... ok I'm ok with that. Must be hard for.. her? Her.

"Yeah I'm cool with it. Of course I am. So what's you name?"

Keagan and his sister looked relieved at that. Keagan looked at his sister as if to in courage her to speak to me.

"I- I... m-my name is.. Kaitly... and w-what's your n-name?"

She stuttered. It was kinda cute. No not straight just thought it was cute.

"I'm Zack. You have a beautiful name!"

She blushed at that. Cute. Nope not straight! I see her as a girl I'm not attracted to girls. Even if they have no boobs and a dick.

"Your not hitting on her are you?"

Keagan asked me. Putting an arm around her protectively and glaring at me. Well looks like someone is protective!

"Don't worry last time I checked I was gay as hell."

And that's true I'm gay. I'm proud and happy. Well as happy as you can be in this world.

"Ok that's... good I guess. Just don't try anything with her got it?"

"Seriously don't worry. Plus if I would start to like her I'll be sure to ask for permission and take good care of her. So don't worry Kay?"

I sat down in front of Keagan and Kaitly. I had to tell them about the fence. I'll have to change topics.

"I don't know if you guys noticed but the fence needs an upgrade. I was attacked by a big horde of monsters 2 days ago and the fence got damaged."

I looked at them before continuing. They both had worried looks on there face.

"I have the supplies but I might need some help since I broke my arm fighting them of. So you want to help?"

"O man you alright!? Sure sure I'll help don't worry!"

Good that means I don't have to do it alone and I'll get to see Keagan work hard with that delicious body he has. I can't wait!

"I think it's best to do it now. We'll be safer that way. However we need someone to watch for monsters. We have to be on the other side of the fence to repair it."

Before I could continue speaking Keagan opened his gorgeous mouth and said

"Wait wait wait. Are you even able to help with the fence? Your arm is broken Zack! And you past out this morning and then slept for another 4 hours!"

4 hours? How is that possible? I went to bed early and slept through the whole night. 4 hours.... something's wrong.
