[CLUE FOUND: Traces of coffee - a double shot of espresso, 125mg caffeine]

[ANALYSIS COMPLETED: Everything is normal. Gavin only consumes coffee in the morning as usual]

That is it? Coffee? No sign of alcohol or drugs at all? No way. Something must be wrong here.

"What?" Gavin asks right after he finds RK900 scanning him.

"We've only been here for ten minutes and you're already checking the terminal twice," the android answers, "You hate the terminal, Detective."

"I don't hate the terminal," denies Gavin.

"Actually, you do," Hank gives his comment while passing by. He just came back from a mission and overheard the conversation. He immediately goes to his desk though, does not seem to be interested to join the conversation any further.

No doubt about it, RK900 knows that Gavin hates the terminal. Gavin barely touched it before and made RK900 to do all the research instead. Gavin always on his phone playing games when it comes to research and paper works. The detective prefers to do more in the field; doing interviews and some actions on dangerous stuff. However, nowadays Gavin tends to work with commitment. He comes early to the office which he never did before. He also becomes less annoying, somehow. Even strange, he often hangs out with Connor and Hank. Does not he hate them?

"Why are you acting so weird lately?" RK900 is curious about the recent change of behavior.

Gavin raises an eyebrow, "There's your twin who likes licking blood, doing coin tricks, and listening to heavy metal-"

"I like dogs too," this time Connor butts in while passing by.

"Exactly," Gavin continues, "And you're calling me weird?"

RK900 wants to reply but then he is interrupted as his LED suddenly blinking yellow. It turns back to blue after couple of seconds.

"I received an emergency report. There's a serial killer on the loose," RK900 announces, "All 4 women were killed by this android; model FR400, name registered as Frank."

"An android serial killer? Interesting..." Gavin responds.

"Some of our men weren't able to arrest him before he disappeared. They need our help to track him down," RK900 adds.

"They let a serial killer get away? How long has he been missing?"

RK900 gathering some information in his data, "About 9 hours."

"He's either hiding, or worse, he's on the run," Gavin thinks deeply, "I wanna hear about his previous victims. Give me some information about them."

"Frank used different forms of torture with each one; choking, burning, and beating."

"What's his connection with them?"

"Three women worked at a shop the same time he did. The last woman was a stranger," RK900 makes an analysis, "If he's following his previous pattern, it's just a matter of time before he finds himself another victim."

"We better catch him quick then," Gavin rushes to take his belongings then walks out of the office, leaving RK900 dumbfounded on his seat.

RK900 blinks for a moment before immediately catching up to Gavin.

Gavin leaves a house angrily and slams the door harshly. He just finished interviewing someone who knows Frank. He got upset after he knows the suspect's location.

RK900 also goes out of the house after saying, "Thank you for your cooperation."

Both of them get in to the car, ready to chase after the suspect. The atmosphere feels tense as Gavin speeds up his driving.

"You do know that the person we just interviewed is not the killer, right?" RK900 blurts out, questioning why Gavin got angry.

"Yes, I know that," Gavin replies while keeping his eyes on the road, "But that son of a bitch protected one and now at least 5 women are dead because of it."

So, base on the interview, the person actually knows what Frank has been doing to those women yet he keeps silent about it because he considers Frank as his family. At first, the person does not even want to talk at all until Gavin pushes and pressures him to. RK900 is quite amaze by that and the fact that Gavin seems worried about the victim.

Gavin calls for a backup when he finds a truck near the woods within the location that was given from the interview.

Gavin and RK900 get out from the car to explore the woods. RK900 is scanning for traces and leading the way while Gavin follows him from behind.

"Help me!" after wandering around they can hear a woman screams, "Somebody help!"

"That's coming from over there," Gavin runs toward the source of sound.

They find the suspect with the victim at the lakeside. Frank is choking the victim and trying to murder her. The victim keeps struggling and manages to get away. Frank takes a huge branch and about to hit her.

"Model FR400, Frank! DPD! Put it down!" both Gavin and RK900 aim their guns at Frank.

Everything happens so fast. When Frank does not listen and still proceed to hit the victim, Gavin shoots him. Frank falls to the lake meanwhile the victim is crawling towards Gavin while crying.

Gavin helps the victim to get up, "Come here. I got you."

RK900 goes in to the lake to check on Frank.

Affirmative, Frank is dead.

"He can't hurt you anymore. You're okay," Gavin wraps his jacket around the victim to calm her down.

The other police officers come short after. Gavin asks them to take the victim to somewhere safe.

Gavin sees that RK900 still standing by the lake, looking at Frank's body. Gavin goes to RK900 and stands by his side.

"I wanted him alive," Gavin remarks, "Fuck, I'm sorry..."

RK900 eyes widen in respond. Did Gavin just apologize...again?

RK900 takes a glance at Gavin. The detective keeps staring at Frank. His eyes are dull, looking so sad and disappointed. RK900 does not expect to see that.

'Why are you looking like that?'

"Detective Reed!" one of the police officers calls Gavin.

'Why?'

"Coming!" Gavin leaves RK900 and joins the officer.

'Why am I affected by it?'
