Lucy's POV

"Pst."

A quiet noise woke me up at the break of dawn. I slowly cracked an eye open, ready to snap at the person who did it. It was way too early to be awake. I could still hear Natsu's ever-present snores.

"Let me sleep," I mumbled.

After arriving back at the cabin with Gray, it was almost around 2. We had fallen asleep almost immediately, but I still felt tired. And judging by how early it was now, I only probably got around 4 hours of sleep.

"Lucy," the whisper came again.

I shot up from my bed when I realized the voice.

Erza.

"Yes?" I whispered back, looking wide-eyed at Erza. She had never looked more awake, with even her hair already all tied up.

"We have no more guilds to go to," Erza whispered back, sneaking a glance at the still figure of Aramantha.

Natsu's snores filled up the silence as I took time to let the information sink in.

"There's none?" I finally whispered back.

"None. The only guild nearby that we haven't checked is Mermaid Heel, and that's an all girl's guild. I don't think Aramantha's brother would want to join an all girl's guild. That is, even if he would ever be allowed to," Erza whispered back.

"Unless he loves cross-dressing," Gray's voice spoke up from beside me. Apparently he had also woken up by the soun dof our voices. Or maybe he was already awake in the first place.

"I don't think her brother would cross-dress just to join an all-girl's guild," I replied, shooting an exaggerated glance at Gray. He smiled back at me, which immediately made me blush. The events of last night were still fresh in my mind, and I had no idea what to think of them as yet.

"We won't go to Mermaid Heel. The only other guild other than ours that's left is Twilight Ogre," Erza decided.

"But didn't Master and you kinda.........destroy their guild the last time Fairy Tail members gave them a "visit"?" I asked meekly.

"They deserved that," Erza replied matter-of-factly.

"Besides, won't that make our job easier. They're already afraid of us, so all we have to do is storm in and demand an answer from them," Gray added with a somewhat wicked grin.

"And if they refuse?" I asked, almost afraid to hear the answer.

"Then we do the same thing that we did last time," Erza stated.

"Couldn't we do something that doesn't end in violence?" I asked weakly.

"How else will we make our enemy cooperate with us?" Erza demanded. I was about to suggest asking them nicely, but the fire in Erza's eyes stopped me from saying anything. It looked like she was about to destroy me if I suggested to do something in the non-violent area.

"So that's decided. Perfect," Gray gave a satisfied nod.

"But what if he's not there? How are we going to tell Aramantha?" I whispered, furrowing my eyebrows in worry.

"That's going to be the hard part," Erza agreed, nodding.

"I suspect that's why you woke me up at the crack of dawn to discuss this," I added quite sarcastically.

"Why couldn't you just say something?" Gray piped up.

"Me?" I asked in surprise, turning to Gray.
