The two had agreed to get to work at 4:30, giving Link time to cook for himself and Aryll. The two lived very close to eachother, so it wasn't really a huge deal if they made something up on the spot, or when they had to leave.

Zelda was actually kind of nervous, she hadn't seen Aryll for a long time and was already hoping that she liked her. It would be quite awkward if not, but in that case the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

That said, her feelings towards Link had changed drastically over the week. He seemed to have changed, and he was clearly making an effort. It still did seem like he was hysterical about the pendants, though. In all honesty, Zelda would've been fine with it if Link wasn't being so mean. She really liked him when they were doing the skating program together as kids, she'd be lying if she said that she didn't have a little bit of hope that he'd be the one on her pendant at the time.

So when the time hit 4:27, she took a little shortcut through an alley, and arrived at Link's within a few minutes. He told her his house number, 3, so she was certain of which house specifically it was.

Looking at the giant number on the door, she knocked sternly, trying to structure her sentences in her head.

After a few seconds of waiting, the door opened, revealing a little girl who's head was barely taller than the door handle. Zelda couldn't help but notice how much her and Link looked alike. A timid smile was on her face, making her look at least a little bit shy.

"Hi! I'm Zelda" Zelda had greeted, subconciously bending down a small bit in attempt of being less threatening. Aryll had noticibly started hiding behind the door, though she was still clearly smiling.

Link obviously knew who was at the door, and made sure not to leave Aryll to deal with it for too long, so after hearing Zelda's voice, he made his way out of the kitchen to the door.

"Come in" He said, taking the door from Aryll as she proceeded to run up the stairs, surprising Link.

"Is she okay?" Zelda asked, wondering how much she knew about Link and Zelda's past.

"Yeah. She's just shy at first, I guess. It's not really often I get to see her like that" He'd began walking down the corridor and was about to enter a room just before the kitchen, but stopped in his tracks for Zelda to follow him, which she did.

They had both ignored and avoided certain topics to do with the skating program until now, such as theme and song, two of the most important things about the program itself. It was impossible for any progress to be made without setting those both in stone.

Faced with a situation where they had to confront it, Link brought it up. He had realised that this whole program was out of Zelda comfort zone, so it was only natural for him to take the proper initiative.

"So since ice dances are more... Emotions based, I guess, we should find a theme which is just an emotion to start us off with that thought process" He spoke as he led her to a room in which there were polished light wooden floors with a few full sized mirrors on some of the wall panels.

It looked like a dance studio in the making, albeit a fair bit smaller than a typical one. It was still great for their current situation though, as they both knew no one else would have this sort of advantage.

Zelda nodded in agreement, not really wanting to state the obvious. Due to their natural 'chemistry' because of their pendants, the most obvious choice and probably the most convincing thing they could've chosen was something on the romance scale.

"So I had a thought. 'What is the easiest thing for us to portray that the judges will understand and enjoy?' and the solution I came to is probably not what-" Link had started, grabbing his laptop from the floor and sitting down with it as he was clearly loading something up.
