vastness of the night.

the stars above the night sky
caught curious eyes.
twinkling white lights lies,
among cut and broken ties.
in the vastness of the night.

the sun is a star,
a wise man once said.
it bakes the world so near yet so far;
sweat-drenched faces and cheeks like cherry red.

in another galaxy far away;
miniscule this humongous light becomes.
seen only at the end of the day
of tired, coarse, and sweaty palms.

millions of them scattered on a black canvas;
pockets of universes in each light.
universes parallel and vast;
a man's dream to take flight.
drifting off to sleep,
dreaming the vastness of the night.

I'm so excited for a new book and this one's a look into my infatuation experiences. (I'm only 13 so I can't call it my love life yet so.)

Vote if liked it, if you like! Feedback is as always greatly appreciated!

See y'all in the new book!

P.S. I'm going to rewrite some of the poems here just to enhance the overall quality of them! Check back sometime for revised poems!

(Might go on another hiatus but let's just hope that doesn't happen.)
