Chapter 5

Gray's P.O.V

I watched Lia as she jugged away until I lost sight of her.
I strolled back into the restaurant smiling like a toddler who just received a Christmas present from Santa himself.
I  did a quick scann of the   restaurant before  my eyes settled on Travis who was sitting at a corner.I walked up to the table where he was seated and thankfully he had ordered for both of us.

"Thanks bro"I said as I sat down and began munching on my own food immediately.

"I got the blond waitress' phone number"

"Good for you"I replied nonchalantly.

Silence.

"Wait,I forgot to ask you.did you get the name of your dreamgirl?"

"Yup.its Shelliana"

"Nice name,it's kinda sounds familiar"he said, looking lost in thoughts.

"How so?That name is very unique,it's actually the first time I am hearing it"

Travis sat quitely like he was thinking about something then snapped out of his truance.

" I now know why the name seems so familiar, it's because last night I gave her a lift when I found her under the rain.
We later introduced ourselves"

I was dumbfounded.

"Why didn't you tell me about it when we walked in here?"I asked my friend.

"It slipped my mind....if it would be of any help to you I have her number"he said

The bun I was eating almost slipped from my grip.
"What!"I exclaimed.

"If you didn't hear what I said then I would repeat myself.i said I have her number "he repeated himself

"How is that possible?"

"After I dropped her at her house,we exchanged numbers"

"So you know her house?"

"Yup"he stated nonchalantly.

I snatched his phone from the table and started scanning it for her number.
"How did you store the number?"

"Her name is stored as Ana"

"Does she have your number too?"

He nodded.

I decided to text her using Travis's phone after I had stored her number in my phone as 'Lia❤️'.

Hello Ana.i pressed the send button and she replied almost immediately which made my heart flutter.

Hi Travis,thanks for ride last night.

It was a pleasure.ummmm...i would like to invite you over to my place tommorow,I really wanna be friends so we can start off from there🙂

I will think about it then give you my answer by this evening.

Before I forget,I share the apartment with my best friend and he too will love to be acquainted with you.

If he isn't a serial killer or a rappist then am cool with it.i smiled to myself at her attempt to be humorous.

You hurt my feelings😉

😂😂😂...ok talk to you later,am kinda in the middle of something
she replied.
Ok.bye.i gave Travis's phone back to him and went back to my half almost forgotten bun with a smile on my face.
