Chapter 14

Ana's p.o.v

Gray stared at me awkwardly like a child caught opening presents from under the Christmas tree before time.

"Happy birthday Lia"was the first thing Gray said to me when he finally broke the silence.

"Thanks"I replied, smiling.

"Go and change into something else and come let's celebrate your day."He said to me.

I hurried to my room and changed into something more presentable.Since we were having dinner in my house I decided not to over dress.
I wore a white sleeveless short gown which ended around my thighs.it was braided with diamonds at the edges.I matched it With a pair of red ballerina.

By the time I was done dressing I went to the parlour to meet Gray who had finish the arrangements and was waiting for me.He pulled out a chair for me to sit and then pulled out the other chair and sat down.
For our date he had made duck breast and cherries.The meal looked so appetizing causing me to salivate.He decided to serve me since it was my birthday so he served a good chunk of food to my plate and then went further to serve himself.
I was eating and when I put my head up,I caught him starring at me with loved filled eyes.I swallowed the food I was chewing and smiled at him...not just any smile but a genuine smile.

He sent his hand across the table and took mine in his pulling me up so we could dance.He played a soft slow song which we began dancing to.I stared into his beautiful eyes deciding to enjoy the moment.It felt so right being in his arm...it's felt like we belonged together,like he completes me.When the realization of what I was this hit me,I immediately stopped staring into his eyes and that is how our moment ended.The song ended and after making me to sit down, he went to my kitchen and returned with a box which he opened revealing a delicious looking chocolate cake.On the cake was written"Happy birthday Lia, please be mine".
After Gray sang a birthday song for me,I cut my cake and fed him mouth to mouth.

"If you are sure you really want to date me,then it would be good if I told you everything about me"I said to him.
We went to the couch and I told him everything about me starting from my past.I also Told him about the night mares.To my greatest surprise Instead of walking out on me,he hugged me like he was trying to protect me from pain and sadness.

"If I date you I want to know you.i don't mean your favorite colors,food and your middle name.i want to know those too but I want you to tell me about the time you broke your arm learning to ride a bike.Tellme the nightmares you have,the struggle you dealt with,if you ever feel alone.Tell me if there's a voice in your head that tells you that you are not good enough.Tell me your secrets,your thoughts, about your childhood.I want to know everything and I won't settle for less because if I date you,I want it to last.If I date you I am dating you for a reason."

I was so grateful and happy.I held his face in my hands and then looked at his eyes...those beautiful eyes that have held me  captive.i kissed  him long and hard.

"Gray,I accept to be yours"I told him, grinning at him.Within the flash of a second I was in his arms.He hugged me like a child possessive over his favorite doll and filled my face with kisses.

"I love you Lia"He concluded.
