Hayes POV
I left the house early to think about what I'm going to say to Mal. As I arrived at the park I sat on the swings. Then I saw Mal walk up She went over and sat on the bench. I walked over and sat on the end on then I broke the silence.
" Look- " She cut my off.
" Hayes I really thought you were different. That you had changed. " she put that out there.
" Can you just let me explain? " I asked. She nodded.
" Yesterday I was walking to lunch and this girl stopped me and asked me if I could help her and I did. She told me her locker number which wasn't true because it was your locker number, but when I turned around she was on top of me I never kissed her It looked like that behind. " I said.
" You promise that is what happen " Mal questioned.
" Yes I promise " I said. She smiled and leaned in for a hug. I hugged back.
" Im really sorry I never mean't to hurt you " We broke the hug.
" Can we still go on that date " She asked while smiling.
" I'd love to " We smiled and walked back home we both had homework to do so we left it at that.
We had our do-over date tomorrow and it has to be perfect.
