Chapter 3

Mal's POV

Hayes : Hey you did'nt look good when you left last night.

Meet me at the park @ 12

Me : ok

After breakfast I went upstairs and got ready for the day. I hopped in the shower and then washed my face. I wore a Davidson Day Lacrosse t-shirt and yoga pants w/ black converse. As I arrived at the park nobody was there so I sat down on a park bench, after 5 minutes or so I stopped waiting. I turned around to see Hayes walking up to me.

" Hey sorry Mal I had to do some chores " Hayes said.

" It's fine " I said looking up to him.

" Look what happened last night can't happen again. Your dating Taylor my bestfriend. I could'nt do that to her ! " I said politely as I could.

" Mal Plea- " He started to stay but I cut him off.

" Hayes I can't do this. I'll see you at school Monday. Bye. " I said but I knew I felt different inside.

I just couldn't do this with Hayes Grier the boy I couldn't stand just yesterday.

Hayes POV

After things went down at the park I decided to text Taylor to hang.

When I got to Taylor's house I rang the doorbell. Her mom answered and showed my to her room I said Thanks and left. I walked in the door to she Taylor and someone else sitting there.

" TAYLOR WHAT ARE YOU DOING " I shouted. She was on her bed kissing Blake my Lacrosse teamate, and also friend since forever. She got up from the bed and said.

" Sorry I think we're done "

" NO really" I said we sarcasm.

I slammed her door and left the house. I was'nt really sad. I mean I only dated her for Malory. I went home and texted Mal.

 Me : Hey I just wanted to let you know that me and Taylor are through. I caught her kissing Blake.       Read 3:14pm

Mal : ...

 

 What does Malory reply back to Hayes, will she admit she has feelings for him.
