Chapter 25: Lily!

Cassie's POV

You know that moment where you feel like everything you've done up to this moment was completely useless and you just wanna either die or beat someone up

That's how I feel, I want to lie on the ground and die or beat up Bethany, but not to death

Think Cassie think, you are the brains of the group, you have to think, maybe you can avoid this all together, think think, GODAMMIT THINK!

Cassie, why are you so stupid, why can't you do anything right, maybe if you hadn't split from the group none of this would've happened

"You're so useless Cassie"

"If you hadn't been a little whiny bitch, this wouldn't have happened"

"Cassie just DIE"

These thoughts wouldn't get out my head, I couldn't get out of my head...then I smelled smoke

"Cassie, Focus!, Bethany is trying to get in your head, just say no!" Lily said

Then all of sudden Bethany teleported to Lily and grabbed her by the neck, I tried to use my wind powers to save her, But I was in too much of a weak mental state

Luckily Yuri used her super strength and tackled Bethany to the ground, dropping Lily

I want to help, I really do, I just don't know how

And once again I was forcing my brain to think harder, I needed to something, Something that goes with my powers

A tornado

I could make a tornado, But how, I didn't know how

I just want to scream at my stupidity, scream at myself for taking things for granted, I just wanted to scream

So I did

A huge gust of wind started to circle around, and I continued screaming, the circle became bigger and bigger, then exploded

Since it was directed towards Bethany, only Bethany got most the damage

Everyone was slowly recovering so I quickly ran to Lily and tried to help her, But she wasn't responding

"Lily! Lily wake up, now is not the time to die!" I pleaded

Yuri joined us quickly after and tried to get her to respond, then we saw the wound, It was a severe burn, but how? Couldn't she control fire?

Wait...

"I think I know why its gonna be hard to beat Bethany, because she uses our powers against us" I said

Then I saw the truth dawn on Yuri's face,

"Then that means when we attack her, the damage goes to us too" After I said that Yuri grunted in pain and held her ribs

Then I remembered when she had tackled Bethant, was the pain coming now?

Then I heard a laugh from behind me and saw Aiden having trouble fighting Bethany...

This was too much, Why can't I just erase this all, why is this happening to me

And that's when my wind powers went crazy and I blacked out
