Chapter 24: Wait, What!?

Aiden's POV

All of a sudden I was in a white room, alone, but then a little kid trying to chase around a little girl

But upon closer inspection, I saw that the little boy was me when I was younger and the little girl was Vera

It was a nice memory, as kids, unaware of my powers and the real world, unaware of the real meaning of pain...

Then that memory faded and I was in my middle school, I was in seventh grade and I was holding Vera's hand.
Back then everyone always had shipped us together because we were never apart

Flashback Begins~

"Aiden, come on! We got to go to class dumbass!" Vera said

"I'm too lazy, plus, I love~ procastinating" I answered

"Well I do too but I still want to get to class" Vera answered

"Whatever~" I said dramatically

In the end I ended up getting dragged by Vera to class, and I whined all the way there

That was a good memory, but I have to stay on track and figure out where the hell I was

Then I saw another memory show up, of me having to quickly pack to move and leaving Vera....I am still regretful of that memory to this day

All of a sudden Bethany appeared out of nowhere, and said something

"You need to get out Aiden, I will try to tempt you with your deepest desires and you have to say no, do you understand?"

"Umm..no not really..." I answered back, and this didn't look like Bethany at all, It looked like Bethany as a kid

"Fine, I will put it in simpler words, I am the Forbidden child, I died at the age of 12, And I used a forbidden spell to bring myself back to life, in that process I was possessed, and my outside personality was changed, I was inside the body the whole time watching, trying to tell you I made a horrible mistake and I was the forbidden child, but now I can, Because this is Cassie's fear, Me being the Forbidden child" She breathed out as she started talking again "I want all of you in this trial to kill me, The way I died was by being stabbed and the only way to do that is with the sword you have Aiden, remember the goddess gave you weapons, yours was a sword, It was essential for this exact moment, Of course you won't do it alone but if you kill me with any other weapon, I won't die...I already explained this to the others and you're the last one, so, In advance, thank you" As she said that she smiled and faded away

That was too much information for me to take in, I wanted to faint, what the fuck is going on, why is this happening to us, Why me?

How were we gonna fight, I mean we can all fight but, I feel like I'm forgetting something

Then one person came to mind...
